I normally crochet when watching Once upon a time. I have made at least 8 cat blankets for Blind cat rescue and 3 full size ones

I'm currently working on a dragon scale dice bag and a purple scarf. I'm going to be starting on some baby stuff just as soon as I'm able to find some yarn that is suitably soft, since most of the yarn I've found that has colors that are cute, feel rough to the touch and I don't want to use rough yarn for something for a baby.
I love to crochet! I'm mostly self taught and no idea how to read patterns. I'm currently working on expanding my ability, as of right now I can chain to triple stitch (not even sure what they are called) I've had to reform a few things I learned I was doing wrong.
I really want to get into doing toys.
I'm making a granny square patchwork blanket. I definitely get in moods where I crochet a lot or then nothing at all.
I have something to crochet, just have to finish my knitted afghan

I just started learning to crochet and I was hoping I could get some advice or recommended videos to watch. So far I've only learned chain, and single crochet. I've already restarted a scarf I've been trying to make many times due to noticing losing shape ( It started to look like a U) I've finally mastered some sort of consistency so far but I've lost my hook (ordered a new one online cause they are expensive at the craft store).
But again, I'm looking for advice for a beginner and any patterns/videos to help get me started. The scarf I am making is a very basic Single crochet scarf. I'm crafting it simply for practice for now.I've been crocheting up a storm lately, but I don't have any particularly interesting projects. A throw blanket here, a scarf there, nbd.
I love to crochet! Recently finished a very girly/ruffled baby blanket, and have gotten about 1/3 of the way through a gorgeous ruffled ripple. Love the three dimensional look and always seem to go that way. But, I have to admit, I don't crochet much in the summer. Too hot sitting under that mass of yarn! 😄
Doing a general search on youtube is great. I'm a part of several crochet groups on facebook and get a lot of help. All groups but the last one, it's a page to like and follow. Ladies in these groups are friendly and share projects all the time.

I'm currently working on a frog security blanket for a friend's baby. Finally found a green I like!
I'm trying to make a blanket but I'm new to it so haven't got very far!
I'm not very good but I have just started on a bunch of granny squares in purple, blue and green to make a blanket.
The Crochet Crowd on youtube is usually very easy to follow and have tutorials on stitches and patterns for different levels.
I'm currently working on a hat but I have sooooo many ends to tie in on a batch of cross bookmarks that I did with thread. I keep telling my BF that I'm going to teach him to weave in ends so that I can focus on the fun part but he just won't go for it XD
I don't have much talent for crochet, but I do enjoy knitting. My grandmother recently taught me how to knit Norwegian patterned socks and I plan on making a pair as a gift.
