I actually like the placeholder white /grey you have for the veil As for stripes either white or a grey like the nightmare pet stripes a dark orange might work to will leave it up to you for the most part just something matching

Oh, so cute and precious! ^.^ I only have to say one thing that worries me and that is this: It's kind of a rough sketch for me to see if it's what I want in the area of the blanket and the shoulders-fluff.

I will say yes to move forward if it is ok to request minor edits after you've drawn more distinct lines. Please let me know.

The only things I see that look a tad off are the face/neck area and the legs. She's a pretty thin character so I think the legs look too thick for her body type, especially since she's sitting on them in the pose. The face, you can actually forgo drawing the lips. I liked the style face that you used in this example that you have posted in the OP so I think something like that would work really well for her. And the neck I think is too thick as well, not by much though. (If I'm not being descriptive enough, let me know and I can always try to do a quick red line of what I mean; I know I'm bad at explaining stuff sometimes). So just thinning the legs, neck and going off the face from the example I think will really pull it together!

Otherwise I really love where this is going. I love the tail, the pose, her hands look fabulous and her hairstyle looks spot on! I can't wait to see how it turns out :)

Would it be possible to change the red color on the blanket to this: And the jellyfish red color to this: I like the bright berry highlights on the top left, maybe a hint of that bright color could be blended into the deeper berry color? I also like that the berry of the jellyfish looks to be glowing as it casts a shade of color on Dax's face.

Normally I'd be fine with it how it is, but that particular hue red is really unsettling to me.
