I had an issue with getting spammed by site events for pets that weren't mine.. and I wasn't even logged in. Not sure if it's related to this or not. I made a post about it in the bug forum.
"in older browsers" ? always up to date ...
thanks! I like this
What is this new solution? Those of us who use NoScript are going to need to know who to whitelist so this can run properly, if it's something hosted outside of Subeta again.
Please add some details to the first post for NoScript users! :)
It's called firebase. You're using an add-on to change your Subeta experience, it's not really up to us to detail all of the ways to unblock our stuff when we make changes like this. :)

Since this update my firefox (41.0.2) is hanging for like 10 seconds when I'm opening a new tab of Subeta. and it's only happens with Subeta, other sites are ok..
I don't expect any staff to give help on how to work around addons, but just the name of the service being used is a huge help. I was looking for it in your first post, and it came as a surprise that you never mentioned it.
Thanks for the info. :)
I didn't notice much... Although I guess sometimes my events came back after I had thought that I had deleted them.
Thanks for these updates!
im not getting notifications either
I wish I could go back in time..
Same for me with the notifications, got them until yesterday but now they're gone again.
Yeah, I'm having issues with Trick or Treat notifications specifically...sometimes the alerts show up, but lately most of them haven't.
I've been having the same issue. At first I thought it was something else I had running in the background, but I haven't had that running this week and the lag is still here. It's only 2-3 seconds max, but the entire browser locks up during that time. I can't switch tabs, resize/move windows, or open links. This happens on both of my computers (Win 7, Firefox 41.0.2). And just like you, it only happens when I'm on Subeta.
I never noticed any issues with pusher.js.

Huh, same thing here. I also assumed it was something else (another site in another tab?) holding things up, but i've only had this issue during the last couple days and seeing it mentioned here, i'd bet it's the same problem. I'm on a relatively new (just refurbished, Windows 10) computer that's been running great otherwise so it really seemed odd to me that it was suddenly getting completely locked up like that.
I experienced some lag related to pusher.js on my old computer but it cleared up quite a while ago and i didn't think much of it (my old computer had a lot of issues that weren't Subeta's fault anyway). But with this new thing, i'm getting these whole system lockups, which are a bit alarming, not to mention that suddenly my notifications aren't popping up for me until i reload the page (the little red event notice that used to appear on the favicon doesn't show up anymore at all).
