"If'n 's tha' far ou', we should take th' truck," Angie said. "I got a long range, but i' ne'er 'urts t' be closer. B'sides, this way ya guys c'n bail quick if'n there's a problem." She smiled. "An' tha means we c'n just stick 'im i' th' back. Won' be a problem."
Lexie nodded. "Sounds good to me. Michael, you want to help me lug Mr. Falling there? It's easier with two people. Unless there's a reason we shouldn't use the truck?" She watched the young man carefully, waiting for his input on travel method.

Scratching the back of his head, he thought about it for a minute. "Well it's much faster by foot since we don't have to worry about wreckage, but we could get there by truck. Or another option is we scout ahead and you drive the truck and meet us there. The truck route is relatively safe and easy to navigate so it wouldn't be hard for me to point you. It will probably take and extra fifteen to thirty minutes though. I'll leave the decision to you, however, if that was a supply drop, I'm willing to bet that we want to get there first." In the back of his mind, another voice was making itself very clear, "Just leave them already, you're wasting your time, that drop wasn't big enough to be other people and was too intact to be debris. Hurry up and secure the goods before anyone else can. Besides, we don't need to be sharing with these useless people." Scratching the scar behind his ear, a tick he uses to ignore the other voice, he poses one final question. "Well, what's your decision?"
"Fair 'nuff," Angie said. The other woman nodded agreement. "We'll lug Mr. Falling to somewhere nearby, where Angie can keep an eye on him and set up her rifle. Then you and I will go in." Lexie went to the head of the makeshift stretcher, and her partner grabbed the foot. "After you, Michael."
