Ahhh, I know I'm getting a ton of pings (and messages, and emails) about the state of the wardrobe. I promise that we're working on this! There are a few things that need to happen, including getting it up to date with the newest version of react, and moving around some components to make more sense. I've posted about this a little, but I'm working at Code for America on a pretty similar project (technology wise, not content wise) and I'm trying to soak up all of the knowledge there and bring it back to Subeta.

There are some other things on the horizon as well, that we still aren't talking about because they're at early stages but we are being really mindful of not wasting our time or working on things that could benefit more in the future from those developments (or need to be rewritten/redone because of them) and HOPEFULLY we can start showing that process / more around it in the near future. ?

Please no more new things until the things that are on site are fixed. There is so much to work on. Even stuff that doesn't need to be recoded, just shuffled about. The Pawn Shop and Custom Wearable shop layouts for example.

Is the wardrobe one of these projects? You say you've been working on it, but we haven't had any updates since November. It almost sounds like it's been put on hold indefinitely, until you can recode other parts of the site?

Is the possibility for buying additional layers broken? I purchased 7/7 face layers for several times, got the sums charged, no update on my avatar so far. And when looking up my layers in the wardrobe, it still says 7/5. I want my stubble back! XD

I don't know if it have been brought up but when you remove an item that your HA is wearing from your wardrobe, the HA is not updating itself and removing the item.. it's not a cache problem because I did it 2 days ago..

So in general, you can buy a wear, save the HA with the item and sell it after..

You can't use more than 5 items per layer if you don't have a GA, or more than 6 if you have a GA. If you buy more than 5 (or 6) you just extend the duration period of your extra items per layer. I hope it makes sense. I'm tired and sleepy atm. x_x

I just referred one of my closer friends onto this site. I'm sitting beside her as she does the intro quests and she can barely access anything in the wardrobe at all. She's changed her skintone, base features, etc. But when she saves nothing saves. She's actually coming from Gaia and was kind of really bummed out that the wardrobe was completely busted. To have such a prominent feature be busted I'm sure really discourages new people from joining up on here.

The Share Function is broken since long ago, we know that. However, when I try to use the Share pic for a picture site for posting a pic in a HA contest, the nose is always gone. So this doesn´t work, too. The Share function is such a wonderful tool, I really wish it would be fixed.

I am just curious why the wardrobe and preview quit working for a day or two (like now), start back up again then again quit. Is this some kind of cyclic thing going on?

I'd really like to see the page tab moved over or under the search bar, or by the Items Per Page. Right now I have to scroll up and down constantly to change the page and browse items.

seems the wardrobe isn't updating my ha again :( (going on several hours now) and it's still freezing after you move a few items up or down the layer list..so you have to refresh and you're back to square one all over again :( ..sorry if i put this on the wrong thread :O

Still a broken image in the upper left hand corner which usually means my hair is not going to load and it didn't. Been like that for a few days at least.

All the share pics are broken too.

I updated my HA yesterday and have yet to see the visual change. The new items are showing on my profile but my HA remains the same. I purchased a CSC item for my new HA and am just wondering if anyone has any idea of when my HA will update? I know that they take a little while to update but have never had to wait for more than an hour.

Mine took over 2 days to show the changes I made.

Shared Avatars and Legacy Outfits are the worst. They're layered in reverse and the lack of nose with no way to even layer one back is annoying. I'm also waiting for the day when we'll be able to delete drawers.

Coming back after a few months of inactivity...and I am not impressed at all with the "new" wardrobe. It takes forever to load, and of course, won't save my changes. Wardrobe has always been a favorite of mine here on the site...please please PLEASE fix it asap!

Edit: And of course, the moment I post, it updates to reflect my changes. Story of my life...

Please, please, please work on the nose in the Shared outfits so we can use them even when we can´t post them! It´s so much work redoing the layers. Also, the Shared pic is a png and can be used for the contests. It´s much more complicated when your desktop picture maker crops the pic out and only does tiffs like mine. When uploaded, the picture is always blurry when transferred into a jpeg. Even sharpen functions don´t help. Please look into this, it would make our life here so much more easy!
