There is a board for this linked below but I will go ahead and post the first post that has the way to fix it.
MINIMOD EDIT: Keith posted below with "For now: go here and resolve your facial features. If you have a black background, you need to remove your hair on this page. Click on the 'remove your hair' button.
This is being worked on, but as we move the avatar system from the V2 to V3 wardrobe (as the original wardrobe is expiring in a day) these things are going to happen. I hope to have some documentation up on it soon!"
MAKE SURE YOU SAVE YOUR AVATAR AFTER FIXING IT AND THEN CLEAR CACHE AND HARD REFRESH.

Yeah sorry about that. Since we are about to be down to 1 wardrobe (finally) we have temporarily moved the wardrobe topics there because hopefully MOST of them will be moot when the v3 is fixed up.
