I checked Blake again and then refreshed the Mage and got the map! Hope this works for you as well :)

you don't need to get past the first room, but you do need to keep trying again until you get the event, it's random

i have a game prize rarity shell i can lend out when people get to the part of the hunt where they need to give a shell to the beach shack shop keep

You said you have the special shell that is needed later on. Could I lend it for a while please?

Don't forget that you do need to play at least one game of Seashell Spotter before Lindsay will accept a shell from you.

I played plenty of Seashell spotter, sadly I never got a game rarity shell. Only clothing with shell in their name

I am so very glad there are 2 weeks to get this done... I am still stuck on the Crypts! No matter which door I choose I still can't get past the first room, and no map piece comes up at all. (sits back to wait yet another hour before trying again)

Urgh... simply cannot win at Bluff! So frustrated. People getting it on their first try are either incredibly good at the game or incredibly lucky.

Know the feeling as well. Literally as soon as I posted here TWICE, complaining about something not working, I then got it straight after :P

i feel your pain and frustration i lost time after time and was ready to give up when i finally understood that your betting on all the dice on the table and not just your own. Once i had knocked him down to 3 dice it was much easier cos if he bet at least four 4's and I had none then i knew i would win if i challenged him cos he had a max of 3 and i didnt have any. I hope you dont get too frustrated and give up. Im not going to play bluff again unless i have to but at least i know i can win now if i put my mind to it lol. Have you read the instructions on this thread for playing? the actual rules page for bluff confused me more so i don't advise using those instructions.

I'm having problems with two of the steps. Piece 2, clue 2 and Piece 10, clue 2

I was able to skip over piece 2, clue 2 but none of the ones after piece 10, clue 2 seem to be working(the step where you visit the mage). I've been several times and it just doesn't seem to be working ):

Still have yet to get the last map piece. granted, I haven't bothered playing Bluff since the very last time I played it (and failed to win)

I absolutely hate that game.

Make sure you talk to Blake after exiting the Crypts. That should trigger the Mage's step.

Finally won at Bluff as well, who plays that game for fun??

I play Bluff all the time, which is why I thought it was the easiest step of all. It's an easy 10K SPs per win. As long as you keep in mind you're betting on all the dice, his and yours, and you start with bidding the lowest numbers you can guess what he's got after a few turns. I can often predict what he's going to bid next. Don't understand why everyone is having so much trouble with it.
