Some ppl might prefer actual white to cream tho, so if you want, I can do a white/black and a more cream/black versions and see which is more preferred. I know you want to keep things vintagy, but the look might be enough w/out making it vintage colors completely. So yeah. I'll start that asap! =D

You don't need to be nervous, you have huge talent, it looks like painted and you use light in beautiful way :)
~ Well it IS painted.. just digitally. Which is a fairly new medium for me. I mean I have been fiddling with it for years.. but really seriously pursuing something like this is SO new XD. I am far more used to Traditional Media...hence a little bit unsure of myself LOL I LOVE scenes like this though. I have a bunch of watercolour stuff in my actual portfolio :) that and coloured pencil are my favored mediums
