I am so bummed about the new site. It is not nearly as amazing as the old site. Seems like we basically do not have an account at all anymore (as far as I can tell), which sucks. The information they provide is vague, and they don't showcase all that beautiful artwork that was done for the moments in Pottermore v.1. I hope they make improvements. What do you think?

I actually quite like it. It's a work in progress, but I like the layout and everything. There was an old J.K Rowling site quite like this before (can't remember the name), and it seems like they merged that (writing, character stuff, etc) and Pottermore.

This is just the barebones at the moment, but it has promise.

Ehhhhh I don't like it. It's confusing, seems disorganized. And we're gonna be sorted again, get a wand again, which means we might get different results D:

Only thing I'm interested in is the patronus.

I am not sure what to think at present, guess I will wait it out and see how it moves forward

It takes a bit to get used to if I am honest. I don´t really have an opinion right now. Maybe if we can start exploring it properly and get the sorting ceremony and stuff I´ll warm up a bit.

There is a lot more coming. She is essentially expanding the world and allowing people to have things they didn't have before. They also had a lot of old accounts no one used and others that people made many until sorted into the house they wanted. I don't like that we have to get sorted again but the site has promise of what it could be. I do hope potions is updated and brought back.

They had released that last book not so long ago it is weird to me they might have taken that away too.

I'm going to keep exploring and hopefully I learn to like it more. I am excited to see where she goes with everything. I really hope they use all the moment artwork from the old site though. They were all so pretty!

I hope they bring back potions too, but it did need some work. I also hope we will get to duel again. Do there going to be actual accounts for users again, or will it just be a "sorting quiz" anyone can come and take at any time?

That's what I'm worried about. I wish we got to keep our account with that info. I guess it will be fun taking the quizzes again though!

I am thinking it will have accounts as well but it doesn't say anything about it I just hope it is not a paying membership because that would be a super low blow from them.

Ew I hope that doesn't happen. I don't think she'd do that. They're making enough money off the theme parks, movies, etc. This should just be an extra bonus for fans. A free bonus!

Yeap! I saw it first thing this morning and it seemed pretty cool is just new. I like that my acct was so old.

Same here! Mine was from August 2011 when they were first doing releases of the names. Sad it's gone! Oh well though.
