That's what I'm counting on, that events will come up with a lot of new items. I went through the shops from Pandemic and Vesnali that I hadn't yet shopped through, and that alone netted me a couple of hundred. I haven't yet gone through Skitters' old stuff, either, so I'm sure I can make up some of that distance, but...I don't know.

I've never gone for the unique item achievement but when I was saving for Keeping Cash I struggled so much trying to decide if I should keep going... I just kept thinking about all of the other achievements I could get if I spent my sP. I'm glad I didn't stop though. I got the top tier and now I'll never think about it again! GL with your continued hoarding - I hope you make it to the top and then never have to think about that darn achievement ever again

Yes, finally! I thought I'd finally have time to get back into Subeta this summer but then my computer broke :( We just finished building my new one and just in time for the holiday season! Work has settled down a little bit and hubby finally got a job so he's much happier ^_^ Now I have all of these items and achievements to catch up on, though. It's been over a year since I was getting on daily. I've missed so much even though I was able to keep up with the big stuff.

I usually autoprice after I do all my quests which is around 4am subeta time most of the time and I think that is a good time but midnight would probably also be good for the people like me who do all their quests then xD

didn't do too well last summer and i'll probably be quite busy during the fall sprint too, so 200m seems like a pretty alright goal. :P i've been nonstop packing these last two weeks and we're going to move apartments this weekend ugh. will be glad once it's over though, and the layout in the new apartment is much nicer than in our current one. :>

Not at all, I love hearing other people's experiences with this situation! It is such a struggle, because it's such a big goal, that's exactly what it is. And yeah, there's that whole push/pull with "man, if I just got rid of the hoard I could do all these other things instead", but you do have a point about getting to the top and then not worrying about it. If I stop now the last two achievements will probably bug me forever.

That, and if they retire it before I finish, at least I know I'll have done my best. Thanks for the two cents! :3

man, i can't even imagine trying to get to the final tier. huge props to you if you go through with it, i got to 10k items before giving up. ;P i did manage to get 45k items with duplicates though, but that was mostly because i had a huge stash of steamworks trinkets :'')

I did the 45K total items and only got to 10K unique then stopped.I couldn't be bothered going for more unique items after that. good luck with that goal hon!

That's also how I got an Ametsuchi, thanks to the one day Recycle Beast decided to tie one on and ask for Free Beer. I think we actually crashed the site turning in all that beer. xD

I kind of can't imagine it, either. I have 15k items still to go and most of them are the retired stuff worth five mil and CW's and whatnot. whimper Oh well. Maybe if Keith doesn't retire the achievement (or if it is SoonTM) I might get lucky and be finished three years from now. xDD

Looks like I'm a few days late, but I just hit my 50mil goal from the summer sprint and would love to join in on this sprint as well!

I was able to make 40mil in the 8 weeks that I participated in the sprint. Between my weak moments and the fact that I didn't price my shop, not even once... I'm gonna say I can at least double that in the 12 weeks until Dec. 1st. SO I'm going to set my goal at 150 mil starting at 50 mil.

(And hope to price my shops and pass that early, in which case I'll come and increase my goal... Earlier in the year I set a goal of 250mil by Dec. 9th so I'm hoping to get there.)

I also plan to hit 15k in the wardrobe!! As I've just passed 14k and still have to spend all my steamworks trinkets and vesnali coins. <3

It's the I could have sworn there was a SubQ item that does much the same thing, but I couldn't remember what it was called and I ran across the Makeup Bag in the wardrobe first. I wish I could remember what the SubQ item was!
