That example is indeed a painted quad! And I appreciate how nicely laid-out that form is; thank you for taking the time to make it so readable!

When I was a kid I used to watch all the shark shows on Animal Planet, and I think the black-tips were my favourite (10/10 great shark design). The tiger has nice markings, but if you want the underwater lighting effect (totally up for that by the way!) then I'm worried they might get a bit lost in the lighting? Great whites are wonderful too of course, and they definitely deserve some non-monsterous representation. If you have a preference I'm game either way.

As for box constriction, that ref pose is a good one, but I can definitely twist & play with it a little to see how to fit in in there. I've crammed mermaids into boxes with a relatively natural result, so I'm sure I can stick a realistic-ish shark in there. :3

Fuego himself is generally a pretty chill guy that likes to take it easy (much like a cat), especially out in nature. Most people would probably stay away from him though as his choice of wardrobe often makes people think that he's a bad guy. This suits him just fine though as he doesn't really want to get too close to anyone that's mortal.
