My second commission (I moved it here so it's easier to find, but I also left it on the other page as well):

Character Name: Penni Character Ref: ref I am having a really difficult time getting the colors right so I am just going to show you kind of what I envision in the hopes you can capture it. :) Colour: In the ref - golden yellows and cream colors. Deep midnight and navy blues with matching deep purples and bright metallic versions of both.

Other Info: She is a skilled highly logical red panda. She is a trained warrior and assassin, who is adept at staying hidden for many hours. She is smart, very good at locating her target and taking them out. She is also a mercenary for hire but usually chooses to fight for a just cause (she has a few lines she will not cross). She is usually serious because she must be alert at all times for threats. After fighting along side Princess Sentine (the Pherret you are drawing for me now), she gets hired to work for Sentine on a permanent basis as bodyguard/warrior/etc. Sentine and Penni are inseparable friends now.

Pose should be something where the cape can be flowing but I can see a lot of her body. She can be doing anything except standing on four paws. I'd prefer to see her on two paws/standing up I think. Unless you get a really great idea that has her down on all 4 (I know inspiration might come and guide you to something super cool/different). I love everything you do for me, so I'm sure it will be awesome! ❤️

I wasn't sure if the colors would work out well together or not, so if at any point you feel something is off or gross then please let me know (I really do value your input and opinion). I hesitated to use purple and yellow because in theory they are supposed to compliment each other, however I often dislike them together. lol I wanted to go with something that might be aesthetically complimentary and this is what I came up with. Plus this is outside my "box" and I really want to be outside of my comfort box.

I'm so excited to see how these turn out! :D Both these characters fit into the same universe together, so I'm beyond thrilled that you could do them both. Thank you so much. ❤️

I definitely know what you mean about the colours - purple/yellow can have such a jarring effect when used inefficiently. However, I've also seen it done very well, and because of how matte the yellow is I can see it working out fine. If I run into any difficulties, I'll let you know. Worst-case scenario we could do a total recolour, so there will always be a solution in any case. ^^

The colouring process of your lovely princess will begin today! In the mean time...

The red panda(Penni): I think she needs to have a softer expression, maybe a little bit more happy but not a ton. I don't want her to look evil with her knife in her hand. :P Also the top layer of the cape looks like a large hood. I think it should extend down a little bit further, closer to the hips/waist area. I think it should look lighter like it's flowing a bit and ruffling up a bit near the ends (due to wind). There is something off with the paw that is hanging down, I am not sure what it is though. looks for a log time I keep looking and can't figure out what it is exactly. :D I will let you decide, what do you think?
