You are not alone. I know a lot of us struggle with things like feeling overwhelmed, depressed/low energy/ambition, and or being overly self-critical. I for one didn't think I was super self-critical but it turns out I am and I've been working on it for a few years now. I am far from free of being a harsh critic towards myself and there are no easy answers for you on that front, unfortunately. Just know that it is something a lot of people can relate to, just most won't admit it. hugs I've spent years in therapy trying to overcome my own self-criticisms which has caused me to have a lot of really negative automatic thoughts/behaviors. If your own more-positive-mindful self-talk and or reality checking (if a statement is accurate or helpful) your thoughts does not help you, then what I have found to be the best way to proceed is to look towards people who you respect and care for. Ask those people for their opinions and thoughts which you then accept radically as their truth. Sometimes I don't agree with their truth but I evaluate it and realize there is always a kernel that is not just their truth but the truth as a whole.

There was a quote I once heard about finding the spark in others.. let me see if I can rustle it up for you, it might be interesting to you. "At times our own light goes out and is rekindled by a spark from another person. Each of us has cause to think with deep gratitude of those who have lighted the flame within us." - Albert Schweitzer I think of you in this quote because the spark has already gone both ways. You said that the reaction of others often sparks your own desire to be creative (etc.) And I know that when I view your work it generates feel-good sparks inside me and helps me overall. ^^

I really would be very sad to stop seeing your work. I often just go through my own pet profiles just to see the beautiful pieces you've created for me.
