Thank you for both the change and letting everyone know exactly how points are scored. :) We might make it now!
, Is there anyway to consider scoring 5 for 1 point? Or a half of point.
Being older than most I did not grow up with that game. I think I tried it once when someone had one and wanted to hurl it against the wall....
Don't worry I didn't.
Just throwing this in as a FYI regarding this game and going along with others requesting the number be lowered..

so the requirement for Pete of 10 is very high for us "normal" people. :)
The community battles bit was referring to how, in certain events, there will be one enemy that the entire community fights together. Usually in those "boss battle" type deals, the boss' health is reset to full a few times to give everyone a change to fight. Sorry if my logic is a little flawed, I'm pretty tired at the moment.

Good news... i thought the pete bar was broken.
Pete's game is even hard when writing the order down... I was at 45, then clicked a wrong one. You really need to concetrate hard if you want 50.

I think most people (including me) take notes to remember the sequence. I'm pretty sure the Pete wasn't designed to just be played off memory (especially considering the fact that there are achievements all the way up to 50 - also humanly impossible). So I doubt they're going to lower the minimum since it's already very low, as long as you're taking notes and not actually trying to cram everything into your short-term memory.
, I have no idea how to take notes. I cannot write that fast. Can you explain to me how people can take notes for this?
I know the staff here is great. I meant no disrespect whatsoever.
I always heard to ask and if the answer is no of course I will respect that.
Because the game only adds one extra step per round, it's quite easy to take notes! Just write down everything (whether on paper or on the computer) from the very first symbol/colour, and each time you just have to add one extra. It's not timed, so you can take as long as you need to write it down and to answer :)
Also, you can also abbreviate it to just one letter - I use y for yellow, p for purple, g for green, etc. but you can also use abbreviations of the food items. Plus, I separate it into groups of 3 for easier reading. e.g. if the sequence was purple, green, green, red, purple, blue, I would have written down pgg rpb.
Hope that helps a bit! I know lots of other people take notes differently, but that's how I do it.
I love these kind of games but that's because memory is an easy thing for me. I hit 30-something when i did the initial play through and didn't even consider the notes until I was reading comments later, so it only occurred to me then that not everyone finds these games as easy, oops. So I'm glad there's something to make this a little easier for getting that bar filled. (Now I just need to find time to sit down and aim for 50)
The notes I've seen some people taking is to assign each item a number or just the first letter of the colour and writing that down, adding the new one each step.
, Do you wait to play the sequence after the whole thing is done? I am not sure I could even do it that way, but I will try. Thank you for your help. , thank you as well.
Yeah, that's pretty much it. It's not the most fun thing in the world, so it's completely understandable if you decide it's not the game for you :)
I just want to double check, if the score at the top says "Score: 10" and I buzz out and end the game that counts, yes? I'm just unsure since the other game, Pirate-something, if you want to get a certain level achievement you have to get to the next one for it to register.
Also if you score 5 it's zero offerings, but what about 6 through 9? It would seem strange to include 5 the way it's shown in your example if everything under 10 would result in zero offerings.
And do we have to go search for the floating spirits for these baskets or is it just figurative?
I absolutely detest these kind of memory games, so I can't help out at all, but hopefully with this new change people who can tolerate it can help get it up! In the meantime, I'll stick with the Recycle Beast; I can at least do that.
A player must work much harder the longer the game gets so getting four points in one game is a very bad deal compared to the effort of two ten games. So you're telling us to not work hard at it?
This kills the rumor that smaller games work though so thank you.
Oh thank god. Whoever scored the games the first time around was ridiculously optimistic [edit] The game is not timed, and the sequence stays the same, it just adds on one new color each time. So you have plenty of time to write down the next color as you go
Even people who donate/play/smelt after the bar is full are still eligible for the prizes, so there's no reason to reset it.
Yes, thank goodness! Hopefully it'll be easier for us to fill the bar now. :)
The way I took notes, was just to draw a circle on a page, and then use numbers.
For example: If the first one that lit up was the top left, then I'd write "1" in the top left of my page. If the second one that lit up was the middle one, then I'd write "2" in the circle on my page.
This way helped both remember the order, as well as making it a bit more easy to visualize. :)
Meh, I already spent a long time getting the highest tier. Unless the collective goal gets me a better exchange rate I'm not interested. Painful, boring and you can't multitask whilst playing it. Good luck to everyone else though. :P
Oh also the best way to keep track is to use the first letter of each colour (B,P,G,R,Y) and just add the next one to the list as it goes. It's easy but tedious, so it's nothing you want to do for even two games in a row.
