I actually added a new pet! A common Bumbus named Pirth, though I haven't started working on them. I've also completed by first pet, Dodo Bird. c:
EDIT 7/15: I added 8bit the Scribble Bumbus and Occultism the Nostalgic Sheeta to my petlist, though they aren't listed on my profile yet.

hi! yes we are still active! this thread ends up kinda dead because we have our own mini-forum thing and use discord a lot. :D For pet/character building we're doing some cool things like world building and coding topics this month :)

How long have you been a member of Subeta? How do you spend your time here? About 7 3/4 years. I spend most of my time lurking and loosely working on pet profiles.
How many pets do you have? And if all your pets are not listed on your profile, please provide links to said pets. As of this post, 20 pets.
Please list and tell us about at least two of your most completed pets. Garrus This is Garrus. He is a fanpet of Garrus Vakarian from the Mass Effect trilogy. I recently re-did his profile due to the other coding being out of date and looking wonky at best. For his story, I basically summarized highlights of what happened in-game for the trilogy, and ended with him being lost without Commander Shepard. I went with a Fishbowl for the Minion, because of the running joke in the fandom about buying fish, tanks, etc instead of worrying about weapons upgrades and such to fight the reapers with :P
Dov Dov is actually my most recent finish. She is a very good example of 'making it up as you go.' I had originally planned on adopting her out, but started writing a bit for her, and after a couple or few days, came up with that. I lost about half of the story, so the last third or so is a little more half-assed than the rest was due to me not wanting to type it all out again (forgot to copy/save the story before trying to save, and it didn't save anything of what I had just typed out). She's basically one of the last (if not the last) of her kind and mingles with humans, much to the dismay of her friend. She is too trusting and eventually gets used and falls into a trap where she is forced under a controlling spell via some very dark magic, and her appearance is forcefully altered -- permanently. She ends up rampaging and hurting the people she used to protect, and the last straw before she gave up on any bit of hope was seeing the last human she knew and trusted get killed in front of her. Now she's reclusive and kills any living creature that gets too close. Some adventurers take the legend regarding her as a challenge, others accidentally wander into her domain, but all meet the same fate: a gruesome death. I tried to keep her TC to more morbid-like things, but there aren't a ton of morbid type items out there. But, I think all things considered, it isn't too bad.
Why do you want to be a member of Menagerie? I think it'd be neat to be around/get to know others who dedicate just as much time or more to pets than I do. It would be great to make some new friends and maybe bounce ideas back and forth and get some good critiques, suggestions, and assistance in general to make pet profiles, stories, etc as appealing as possible.
