Two members from each house have been selected based on their participation, their efforts to get other members involved, and their helpfulness towards others. Their current role is mainly to help us plan events (we may have one in the works to come out soon), make sure that the admins don't miss anything, and to help out any new members with some of the more basic questions they may have. Congratulations to and from Ravenclaw, and from Hufflepuff, and from Slytherin, and and from Gryffindor for becoming our first Prefects!

Good morning, everyone. Today, we'd like to announce a new feature: Clubs/Extracurricular Activies! Slowly, we will be introducing new clubs and extracurricular activities to the cult. Later on today or sometime tomorrow, we are hoping to introduce the first two: Quidditch Club and Book Club. Please note that no club will be a place to earn any extra points for your house. They will be places for you or your character to indulge in some of your favorite wizarding past times.

The way the clubs work will mainly depend on what type of club it is. For instance, the Quidditch Club will primarily be a roleplaying club, as there is so much more potential out of roleplaying Quidditch or having your character enthuse about their favorite Quidditch teams than it would for our muggle selves to talk about how much we wish we could play Quidditch. Please note that the Quidditch Club is not to be confused with the Inter-House Quidditch Cup. The Quidditch Cup is still in the works and will be a separate entity from the Quidditch Club.

The Book Club, however, can go either way. My suggestion for how the Book Club would go would be for us to pick one book a term to read and discuss. This way it would give everyone time to read it. The part that would depend on the cult, however, is if you'd rather discuss the book in-character or just as an out of character chat.

Please note that a few rules have been added to THE RULES.

8. Please do not create threads for clubs. Either the Admins or the Club Captain should be the only one to create a club thread.
9. This rule is particularly for Club Captains: Please keep all club threads to the Common Rooms.

Since we are 2/3 of the way finished the first term, Club Captains will not be chosen until next term. This will give us a chance to really flesh out clubs before we hand the reins to someone else. Club Captains will be chosen at the beginning of each term to give everyone an opportunity to head their favorite club!

After seeing how these first two clubs go, we will be adding more and more. There will be no limit to how many clubs you join, so feel free to join each that suits your fancy.

yeah thankfully i bought the books I was missing like instantly after the news announcement. Gotta have my title!

Hi everybody!

I just wanted to take a moment to remind you all that there is one week left in the term! So please finish up any class assignments, challenges, etc. by then! We are working behind the scenes to get all of the class assignments graded, so don't fret if you haven't been awarded points yet! Most likely your assignment has been graded and is just waiting for the rest to get finished. The cup may not be awarded exactly on October 29th, but we will try as hard as we can to get everything together for you guys as soon as possible!

Just a heads up, the HA Challenge that will be posted later this evening will be the last challenge posted for the term.

Please also note that the next term will not start until Saturday, November 14th! We have some really great ideas for the next term, and we're really excited to get started on them! However, we also need a bit of a break, and we're sure you do too!

We won't be totally idle during the break, however. We will be holding both tryouts for the Special Abilites and for next term's Club Captains! More info for the Club Captains to come.

Hi all! Just wanted to mention that all activities and lessons have been locked! We will be awarding points over the next couple of days, so keep an eye out! I have some last minute plans tonight personally, so I wouldn't count on too much done tonight, sorry! We are hoping to have everything resolved over the weekend. Great work this term, everyone! We really enjoyed everyone's submissions as well as watching characters develop! We hope the next term will go just as well, if not better!
