Tate, who had actually fallen asleep while studying was rudely awoken by a water balloon splashing on her back. She jolted forward, and quickly wiped the drool from her chin. Colorful balloons were flying everywhere. Normally she would enjoy something like this and be apart of the fun, but she looked down at her book and saw the ink running down the page. "are..you..kidding..me" she mumbled while standing up on the bench. "WHO THREW THAT" she said, raising her wand

Beth was just about to ask Milla if she had known anything about the Forbidden Forest when she was suddenly pelted by a turquoise water balloon. Beth looked up in time to sees Peeves pelting more students. She was left speechless. "Excuse me, I'll be right back," she told the group of girls as she headed back the the Ravenclaw dormitories for a fresh set of robes.

"Cardamom and Rose, you sound like fancy beauty potions haha. There's nothing bad or shameful about Muggles or Muggleborns. Literal Purebloods are just about as rare as Squibs. People can be very silly about other people when all they notice are differences." Poppy looked at the two Hufflepuffs with a mischievous glance. "The Slytherins who go on about bloodlines the loudest are usually the ones whose families pay artisans for family trees to be made to include famous wizards. Tell that to Pemberley and see if we can't get a laugh out of her."

"I love the Astronomy Tower and I have a favorite willow by the Great Lake. It's a little easier to be alone outside. This is a nice place to socialize and the Slytherin common room is really cool. I haven't been in the library much yet but I'll be there all the time once the weather turns. It's the most beautiful one I've ever been in," replied Poppy to Beth. "I'll see you later, you too Amanda," she said to the soaked Ravenclaw prefects.

Poppy saw Tate, Harper, and Francine with their wands drawn and armed with water balloons in a spectrum of colors. "Why not," she thought arcing a stream of water from her own wand.

Elune sat on the stairs, fastidiously reading her Potions text as several students made their way to the Great Hall. She was immersed in their recent topic on poison antidotes and the properties of bezoars, when, suddenly, an outburst occurred near the base of the hall; from the corner of her eye, she noticed several students yelling and brandishing their wands. Elune, on guard for whatever attack might occur, quickly raised her wand toward the commotion, when suddenly---WHAM.

A slick substance smashed onto the floor, and water recoiled onto her robes and textbook. She glared angrily toward the ceiling. Peeves cackled back as he smacked a handful of water balloons toward the rush of students.

"Seriously, you don't want to mess with a Ravenclaw and her textbooks," she scowled, then shot a Steleus hex toward Peeves, which barely missed him. She noticed her classmates aiming different hexes and balloons, then began picking up un-smashed balloons and tossing them back toward the poltergeist.

"Sorry!" Elune blurted, as she made her way across the hall. She sat on the bench next to a soaked Ravenclaw () and began rummaging in her bag. She extracted a small, dry towel towel and passed it the girl.

"I'm Elune," she smiled, then peered around the room and spotted students slipping about the wet floor. "Erm, I guess this is getting a bit out of hand. Who knew a poltergeist could cause this much trouble?" She shrugged and grabbed a now mushy biscuit off a tray. She chewed on it unsatisfactorily and wondered where the teachers were.

Gaia walks in and chooses a place to sit while reading her book and slips on a puddle of water. "OOF" she looks around and starts laughing. "I see many of you were attacked by Peeves. I like Peeves." Pushing herself up from the floor she brings out her wand and does some complicated movements and steams starts flowing from the tip of her wand. "Hot Air charm; I learned it from my dad." Gaia dries herself and starts working on her book and then the floor. "Anyone knows what we are having for dinner? I am hungry."

Poppy had showered, changed, and did some schoolwork before returning to the Great Hall for dinner. The water fight Peeves had started had been fun, but it had also cleared out a lot of tables. "Are you all excited for the ball?" Poppy asked a group of new Ravenclaws. "I'm a bit nervous because I'm clumsy and a shy dancer."

"Ah, yes; I was sorted this year!" Elune beamed excitedly at Harper. "It's nice to meet a fellow Ravenclaw. Thankfully, Gaia's really great at drying-charms," she continued, glancing toward her now-dry-potions text. She cast an appreciative eye toward her friend ().

She turned to face Poppy (). "I'm no good at dancing either," she admitted. "But I'm excited to have a break from studying. I'm sure the ball will be gorgeous. Autumn seems the perfect time for one!"

Gaia grins at her friend. "Glad to be of service, ma'am" and tips her imaginary hat. "I looooooooOOOOve dancing. I can't wait!" Gaia starts swaying from side to side. "The island where I was born and were my family is from is big on dancing. I guess I was born with the rhythm in my soul." At that Gaia grabs Elune and twirls her around giggling.

Elune stumbled over her shoe as she and Gaia swung down the aisle. She attempted to twirl Gaia in reply, but the result was unstable, at best. She sat on the edge of the table to catch her breath.

"You really should offer dance lessons," she exclaimed, thinking of all the left-footed first years like herself.

She questioned whether dancing was something one could learn from a book and made a mental note to check by the library after dinner.

"Well there is that jelly leg charm I read about! Gaia laughs while twirling around some more. "I love dancing. Music has always been an important part in my family. My mom's side are very talented and during holidays we can make some noise! Sadly I was the only one that inherit the ability to dance. Family gatherings can be a lot of fun when teaching other to dance."

Tate comes back into the hall, in clean dry clothes and quickly finds a dry seat next to . "Have any of you guys been asked to the ball by anyone yet? I'm afraid I wont get asked and i'll be that person" Tate asks in a worried tone, looking at the others

Gaia thinks about the clothes question while finishing her last twirl. "Well I have been talking to Fade () I am thinking something purple and girly!" Gaia giggles again and grabs Harper for a quick dance session on how to position her feet. "I think this might help you... and one two three, one two three, one two three..." Then Gaia looks well I asked someone. We are friends, it is a lot of fun and I want to have fun with everyone. Many of our fellow students seem shy about dancing, but really dancing is something you feel even when you think you look silly; embrace it! Makes all the difference in the memories we share." Gaia grins and offers her hand to twirls Tate around as well.

At Harper's () question Gaia stops dancing and for the first time has some pink rush to her cheeks. "Well it wasn't much of asking but more of not giving him an option." Gaia giggles. "I was just joking around like I usually do..."Gaia stops talking and ponders. "huh, I am not sure if I have a date. I just assumed!" Gaia starts giggling again. "I guess I have to wait till it is official? How do I know when going to a ball together is official?" While pondering Gaia starts doing the Cha-Cha like nothing happened.
