we have an occasional mountain lion sighting in my parents' neighborhood. we also have javalina, bobcats, and coyote. so it's not safe here. I love bears, wish we had some around here sorta but we don't need more dangerous things.

We have a lot of bobcats around here too D: We have chickens & ducks that stay in a coop outside & we let them out to roam the yard during the day & one time I saw a bobcat run out of the woods from the right side of my lawn, grab a duck by its neck then run back into the woods on the other side, probably like 100 ft all within like 10 seconds...

I think bob cats are all over the usa. poor duck :( yeah having those will really attract them

I see a lot of bunnies and that's about it XD

[.Nena] there were three dead ones on the road on the way to my gf's work that's like 8 minutes away. it's sad, but we have a ton of bunnies. I still feel bad for em

Yeah we have a fence set up but sometimes they can fly over it :(

I was walking up my driveway once and a bobcat walked across it about 10 feet in front of me.. it stopped in the middle to look at me before it kept walking... I freaked the heck out

bobcats are good jumpers too.

yeah there was one in my uncle's backyard that had two kittens. before we knew it was there, I was walking by the pool next to a planter, and a couple feet away, she jumped out. I was scared and instinctively I started calling for my mom (this was like two or three years ago?) the bobcat was more afraid of me I guess and it ran away.

I'm glad you got out of there alive! Those things are scary :(

I'd love one as a pet, they're beautiful. but not a real one... one that is tame.

That's true :P they are really pretty. I just read about this guy in China who purchased two animals thinking they were puppies and it turns out he got himself two endangered bear cubs :P

Lol I know right! The article even said he thought they didn't act like normal dogs xD How do you mistake fluffy adorable bears for puppies.. xD He had them for like 2 years I think
