well it's tough because the people who do have the stronger pets put a lot of time and sP into them to get them strong. I would like to see more achievement prizes to limit the amount of prizes that a single person can get, and more emphasis on battling throughout the year so more people are included in these battling aspects. most top prizes for big battles are weapons anyway so it's not like a non battler is missing out that much. and it's always going to be cheaper to buy these prizes than it is to get a pet strong enough to battle them and earn your own.

It was raining all day yesterday, but not a drop today.

Not to mention weapon prices. You don't wanna know what some of those cost :p I think for most plots they add variety to appea to a majority of people, but even with minor battling parts people complain about being forced to battle
