I've been looking forward to an extra day off for like three weeks now. :( Ever since I hurt my back! Yesterday was the first day I was able to sit at work comfortably without any kind of tylenol or ibuprofen. It was glorious.
So happy to hear you are recovering. Just don't re-injure yourself going crazy through the castle this weekend, or I'll feel responsible. :D For reals, tho, any exciting plans?
Not really! I think I might go swimming later, it's a really nice day out. I'd love to go to the beach, but being a holiday weekend... I don't think that's a wise choice lol.
Yeah, we live in a huge metropolitan tourist area, so we wanna go out and do something, but we do not want to get stuck in traffic, auto or human.
I live in a smaller town, but our downtown area is quite active. I try to avoid it when I can... I drive around it when I come home from work. Except for yesterday... worst idea ever. They have things going on every Friday night, so traffic was brutal.
Oh, I understand. I refuse to drive downtown at all. But the metro is constantly being worked on on weekends, so we just end up... never going to museums. Events. Not worth the three hours it takes to go down and back up.
Decided to play some Sims 3! Playing as my character for the cult (Harper). Pretty fun!
Anyone around? I'm bored out of my skull but can't go back to reading my book since I have to keep an eye on dinner.
not sure if they revamped this, but I think it looks cute. It's like the wyllop is going My elixir MINE!

Trying to think of naming new pets, but idk. The other part is knowing that it's forever. I mean I know some people if they don't like the name toss it into the adoption center. I hope it doesn't come to that. I need to think. I need to think. I need to think.

That's cute! It definitely looks revamped to me.
I am really loving the Otherworld series by Kelley Armstrong! I'm skipping the ones narrated by the werewolf character for now and going back to them later, but I'm really digging the witch/sorcerer ones. :) I made this recipe called Porcupines in a Skillet! Basically ground beef, rice, mushrooms, diced tomatoes, and onion soup mix all cooked in one skillet.
I find that I have the same issue with multiple narrative stories be it books/tv/movies, if I'm significantly more invested in certain characters or plot lines.
Your dinner sounded appetizing! I had spicy crab and sweet potato tempura sushi rolls tonight. Are you into home cooking, baking, etc? :)

Anyone doing anything fun coming up? Coming up, some friends and I are going to hopefully do a scavenger hunt in this boutique district nearby. It's fun and you get little goodies from the shop, gift idea, etc.
Have you played the Supernatural expansion? You can make a witch lol and fly your broom.

The magic of candy IS real. I should know... I used to sell it lol my favorite are acid pops. I miss them.

I bought Pepper Imps from the Wizarding World in Florida but didn't eat them all because they're pretty to look at the in jar. I kept the empty pumpkin juice bottle too. All this talk about food and sweets is making me hungry! I'm going to a beer-fest an hour from the city tomorrow. Fall festivals > summer festivals, in terms of food and drink imo. Is anyone looking forward to anything irl or here on Subeta or with Wizarding for autumn? c:
