Could be wrong but I'm pretty sure Carl's not included because not everyone has access to Omen Islands.

I was pretty sure he was? I only started questing hard (like...doing more than daily Wizard) when I finally figured out something I wanted to spend money on, but I know friends have whined to me about special rewards from Carl in the past (I keep trying to write Carol. Apparently my brain has something against Carol right now). Subeta Wiki also mentions him as a WSQ.

The last time he was was April 2014 and he was immediately switched out with Maleria here. Amber said something along the lines of "Carl wandered where he shouldn't have" implying that he shouldn't be a weekend quest.

Not being picky, just tired of the same damn thing every weekend x.x

I've only experienced this weekend's quest, but I am very pleased with the rewards. :P
