A few people on my friends list are in here and I've been intrigued since I first saw the topic come up in the cult forums so I figured it was time to come check it out for myself.

Hi everyone! I'm Pixi, a stay at home mom from Texas. I'm in my 30's and quite possibly spend too much time online. ;P I don't have a HP character, as I've never roleplayed, but I plan on looking into it.

I've been a fan of Harry Potter since the first book came out, it helped me through a very tough time in my life and it's always been there like an old friend with a warm hug any time I needed it (or wanted it for no reason at all except to enjoy it).

If I'm not with my family I enjoy cooking & baking, reading (mostly fantasy novels and fanfiction), writing, music, binge watching on netflix and hulu (but doesn't everyone?) and playing on here. My subeta interests are all over the place, depending on the day/month/how I feel. But mostly I enjoy collecting achievements and battling.
I tend to either procrastinate a lot or be so focused on my task that I forget anything else exists. It's very common for me to get lost in my writing/reading and not come up for hours/days.

That's all I can think of right now, I never know what to say in these type of "getting to know you things" haha.

After much debating I have settled with 'Slytherin'

Hi everyone :)
About myself. I'm an 'oldie' but my grandaughter keeps me young at heart!

I first became interested in Harry Potter after my grandaughter saw the first film. She had to have all the books to find out what was happening next, and I was the one who had to read them to her, lol. I must admit I enjoyed them too! Not much else to tell about myself really, I am often told my exterior is cold and I come across as a loner, but my inner is warm and caring and I would do anything to protect my own. I can be very competitive when needed and like to achieve all goals that I set. I 'escape' here everyday but usually take a few days out in summer (caravaning) I have a fascination with animation and love to read. No surprise that I have both an animated and a book gallery! Above all I value my friendships. On the whole I can be pretty boring, lol!
