That idea was pretty much revisited with the Omen Island lore, was it?

A sheltered tribe, away from people, except instead of native america tradition, it was traditions closer to indo-pacific traditions.

Maybe a sister tribe that is closer to native american?

I'm not really sure I'm at ease with subeta inspiring itself from the real world anymore. Especially not in native fashion.

What would be cool? Probably expanding on the Galactic Travellers' lore. Actual Atebus native species that are not robots! things that we didn't know existed and yet, do, because the Popoko is written as being the only organic Atebus native. I would like to see this misproved!

Or, learning more about the Popokos, since they're friggin aliens.

That is true. I just think there is so much potential for nice items that I was hoping.

So, these totem pictures remind me of like... those embarrassing baby pictures parents pull out at the worst times. Like, "Yeah, this was when Subeta was just a baby and wanted to make its own totem pole! Look how cute! They kept changing it because they couldn't decide what looked best! :3" "Daaaaaad NOOOOOO, put that old stuff away! ;A; You're embarrassing me in front of my friendssssss!"

But seriously, a nature inspired land would be nice. Just... not with those totems. No.
