I've found that since this Quest event started, his sP rewards have been greatly reduced since he's started giving out books. What's going on?

72,077sP (2) 132,767sP (3) 163,243sP (4) 121,738sP (4) 108,667sP (3) 144,337sP (3) 239,719sP (4) 173,550sP (4) 140,887sP (4) 205,490sP (3) 78,459sP (2) 142,153sP (4) 177,009sP (3) 167,454sP (2) 61,986sP (2)
I didn't quit any quests (I'm sure I should have, but eh it was Quest A Thon) and ended up with a profit of 478,906 plus 2 rare foods, 1 book over 100k, and a few nice resellable commons.
I think the problem is more than the items he is asking for might be inflated a bit.
I've done nothing but lose on him so far :/ Usually the way I do it gives me payouts so I'm really disappointed. You're probably right about the event, though, but even so, normally when all items are Rare and Super Rare, his payouts are pretty darn good. Just lost 130k on him and got nothing back where as I should've gotten much more than what he's given me; hence the question XS

It might be a string of bad luck too. Sometimes days just suck :(
thanks for clarifying for me, though. I hope you're right and he's not been changed :)

I've been having a bad streak with Saggitarius as well -- I'd been taking a break from quests prior to this event, but even before then I wasn't able to finish most of his quests and the payouts I got were barely worth it. Hopefully it'll turn around for both of us, lol.
where was that stated? I honestly hope he's not changing the only profitable quest giver on site XS

oh the unfix restocking thread I think? you can find it by going in admin posts, but I'm pretty sure it was there.
[edit] Keith posted on Vending rarity cap cut?:
it's on the vending rarity cap cut thread, not the unfix restocking one, my bad :P
I have made some profit from him every day - not as much as normal - but I also figure this week is a big huge restocking anomaly in a lot of ways so I'm not expecting normal. I'm also not declining even his ludicrously priced quests, which definitely affects profit. We've got increased restock rates, extra items appearing as quest rewards, and inflated prices in general due to the vastly increased demand.
If he continues like this all through the next couple of weeks post-questathon, then I'll get worried. I'm not worried yet.
saggi seems the same to me. only diff is people are questing more and buying up SS items so theyre more expensive.
Seems mostly normal to me. On a normal day, I make 1-1.5 mil from him.

well..today he was crazy with me asked 3 elixirs in a quest or super rare ones had to skip few of his quests..usually I complete all but today couldn't
If people think that Saggi is the most profitable quest giver on site, they are doing quests wrong
Though his payouts have seemed to be the same to me
Agreed. I think people are just attracted to the quick profit aspect of him since it's all sP.
And to second / third / fourth what other people have said, the rewards seem the same, it's just the item prices are higher.
