Library quests were starting to get expensive so I'm happy the Book Nook restocking got tweaked a little. Will have to try them out after work tonight.

Hah, I didn't know it would be Mystery box related, so when I started doing the quests, I was like 'Alexander wants shiny jewels now too? Is he becoming a diva or what??'

Also the first book he asked me for cost like 200k, so I nope'd out of that one. The rest so far have been alright, but I was worried there for a second. xD

I got an idea .. pawn shop dude v. Alexander v. the Hustler showdown. Support one by buying from them. sp sink event look at that :'D That would be awesome.

Ah, this sounds interesting. Although I'm not thrilled about today's items, ahaha. Was his sP payout bumped up as well? Usually he gives me 2-3k for each quest, today it's more like 20-50k

To me, this doesn't make much sense. I mean, many of these books are 40K+ to begin with, then you add something else, that has nothing to do with the/a Library, to... what exactly?

Though I am hoping to see book prices fall if the shop is tinkered with well enough.

Most popular quest probably because he gives the best rewards? I know you're saying he's taking other things to resale because stupid digital books, but wouldn't that have worked as a summer event? Item Drive for Alexander to keep the Library open, only takes shop items, points rewarded per shop price not user price maybe?

I don't see All that Glitters or Apocalyptic Apothecary working all that well with this. Not unless some book prices seriously drop.

Well, All That Glitters probably needs a tweak as well, because many items aren't worth their shop values. But eh, your call of course. I did both quests for him that Shinwa asked for before realizing I was on Alexander, still wish it were more book related.

But Mystery Box won't always be All That Glitters, though. But I have been seeing it a lot more, though I only go when Drills asks.

I did not actually complete a single Library quest today because I have a 15k limit per item requested and regardless of what a few people say, I am weary of spending more. I'm far more liberal (horribly so) with Saggi, but he frequently screws me over, royally, so I am by no means trusting of this. Books were already crazy expensive... yes, yes, money flowing, etc. Same thing, different day. Just rather irritating the change occurs when that place is the shop of the day at the Mystery Box. I'd rather he asked for two or three books like he used to than other things.

That doesn't seem to work on All That Glitters day, because I was getting 7k or 15k tops. Skipped some quests because it just doesn't worth. Hope 's idea of removing All That Glitters and Apothecary gets some attention

I do hope that Book Nook is being looked at for restocking, as was said here. Especially if vending is being tweaked. Without at least some of those books vending they're going to skyrocket.
