I jest :P Reminded myself of Scream 4, where the killer is on the phone to a girl, who's best friend lives next door, and they're talking to each other through their windows before he calls, and then he tells her 'I'm in the closet...' She says 'I can't hear you, you're not in the closet', so he tells her to check, and she does and he's not there. Then he says 'I didn't say your closet', then you see him jump out of the best friend's closet in the window, and he stabs her to death :3
