Pearl and chains hair dress. This one uses gemstones and such but, pearls or some other bead is fine too. :D

I really like the on-site but wish it came in more colors so dangily bits are welcome, but of course I know you're looking for something different than just an on-site item so it can be just chains draped on the head and such. It's really very open-ended to how you can make it. I could give a dozen references but this one was one of the ones that I liked best.

The New Years Festival is over! Thank you all for participating!

For the Wishing Well Contest; 18 people entered, and I have chosen 3 winners! First winner is: (Paladin belt!) LINK This idea to me simply feels very versitile, and could be a good accent to many outfits. Second winner is: (Star brooch!) LINK & LINK Similar to my feelings on the previous item about versitility, but also because there are never enough small pieces like this that can adorn a dress / vest / shirt to simply make it more unique. Third winner is: (Wooden floor w/ a rug!) I spent all of 2016 avoiding bg themed items like the plague because I am not sure how to even begin, but this request really feels within my reach, and a good starting place for me to work into bg items again. 2017 should be a year I accomplish that fear I think! Each of you will have your idea drawn and will receive a free copy of each onsite version (that means the first, and any recolors made of the item). [I am going to smail each of you for a small bit of clarification on your requests simply to make sure I'm on the right track before I start!]

I'd also like to take a second to thank each and every one of you who came in and participated in my contest. I am not a very social person, I tend to prefer being a lurker rather than a poster and honestly on the first day I started the contest, I battled with simply not even posting it because I knew it meant I'd need to be out and about on the forums and I wasn't sure I could handle it very well emotionally. I won't say there weren't days that were stressful, but I can say I am glad I posted the contest and it's been very nice seeing the support of everyone here in the thread. I do hope to host more things like this, later on in the year (maybe not this large, but something!) so if you didn't win something, please don't worry as there will be more opportunities later. C:

hi mesmer, i'd like to commission an item image/CI with CSC so i understand it'll depend on your interest! i was wondering if this would be something you'd be willing to do? i'm making a simple concealer makeup that hides the brows/forehead for the second lightest skintone. it's basically like this item, except for the forehead: [item=Ghouls Choice Liquid Latex (Fair)]

since it's opaque with a slightly broken/grungy texture, and thus super thick/cakey, i thought the CI could be a literal slice of cake, with a makeup brush dipped into the frosting.

Something like But without the obviously angry look to it? Were you looking for this to work with specific eyes? Should there be eyelid or browline shading on it, or did you just want it solid? And for the top of the area did you want it to simply fade out towards the forehead or to do anything specific? (Please also keep in mind I am not 100% sure something like this would be accepted, so you'd be running the risk this type of thing could be denied for not being allowed. In which case, there wouldn't be a refund since you knew the risk prior.)

@ Mesmer oh, my bad!! i meant i'd only like to commission the item's 64x64px image--i'll be drawing the overlay so if it's rejected then it'd likely just be due to the overlay, and all on me!

edit: and no worries, i understand there won't be refunds as well.
