Thank you for the givaway! <3 I'm awful at remembering and telling stories but I'll tell you one of my favorites.

One of the funniest things I can remember was with my oldest son about a year ago. He was at that age where he always wanted snacks and to share all my food (but do they ever really grow out of this??? I'm not convinced...) Anyways, my family and I had went to the dollar store and had picked up a whole bunch of snacks for something we were doing that day. There were chips, chocolate, gummies, other various sweets and my personal favorite; Warheads. I'm not sure if you are familiar with Warheads, but basically they are a hard candy coated in a super sour power. I had opened the bag and started eating one; about that time my son begins asking over and over for one despite me telling him he wouldn't like it/it was really sour etc. I look at my husband and ask "Should I?" He laughes and responds "sure." So I open one up for him and he happily accepts the candy. He sticks it in his mouth and IMMEDIATELY puckers up his whole face. His eyes became sooooo wide and for a about a minute he held this face (not moving while also staring straight forward). I couldn't help but to burst out laughing after just a few seconds. After the sour powder faded to the sweet part of the candy he finished eating it normally. So after all this and ask him "Well...did you like like...?" to which he replied "Ye....yesss..?" kind of unsure. So then I ask "Do you want another one?" to which he let out a weak "no....." and well, being me I haddddd to ask him one more time... "Are you sure...?" to which he responded "NO NO NO!!! NO MORE!!!" while shaking his head back and forth as quickly as possible. :,) I will never forget that and really wish I had a video. Since then he has believed most* of my warnings about food and has drastically stopped asking for everything I was eating. (There was a similar thing that happened a few months later with Flamin' Hot Cheetos but it wasn't nearly as funny xD)

P.S. No worries, he was completely fine after both incidents :P and we had given him something to drink after ^^

Aww gosh haha XD at least you are looking forward to it, even if the kids aren't!

oh my gosh I completely understand this XD my brother used to do this to me all the time, except he likes super sour stuff, and I don't, so when I'd ask him for one of his sweets he'd be like... sure... you won't want another. hahaha. & yeah, I don't think kids grow out of wanting whatever you have to eat, I think that's why a lot of parents hide their treats

These are in the order of likes

I won the Strawberry one before if I remembered correctly

As for funny/eep moment this happened a few weeks ago when I went to my grandparent's house for raspberry picking I had two containers for the raspberry picking and decided to go pick in random parts of the raspberry bushes at the same time I didn't realize a adorable critter appeared beside me. So I picked most of the berries that were visible in front of me so I decided to check the patch next to the current one and that when I notice a furry looking thing on the ground next to my foot. So I got a closer look only to find out that it looked like a baby rabbit . Of course I was skeptical because it looked like a mini toy until I had the guts to touch the fur of the bunny to make sure it was a fake unfortunately it was really real the only way I found out was that it all of a sudden made sudden movements. Of course this made me go eep and my grandfather saw what happened and started laughing at me.

Looking for these : x100

A little cat story for you Last year in September, my beloved Norwegian Forestcat Tana crossed the rainbow bridge after one year of chemotherapy. We had 3 more cats at the time, alle female, and even when we didn´t plan to get a fourth one again, his best friend Palila was so sad and depressive that we decided to search for a new male playing friend for her.

However, I felt guilty somehow and turned things in my mind over and over again because it was so soon after Tana left us. Then, one night, I dreamed of him, telling me it would be allright to look for a new friend for Palila. Understandable, I thought, my subconsciousness playing with me. However, I started to look for a fitting candidate to complete our quartett, and we decided for a Balinese because my oldest cat is a Norwegian Forest one yet the other two are Balineses, too, a rescue and a pure bred one. They are much smaller than Norwegians and we thought a more leightweight tomcat would be better.

It was well into autumn then and we didn´t find a suitable kitten. We don´t habe many Balinese breeders in my country anymore and all kitten were either spoken for or simply there were no litters. One of these days I dreamed again about a female cat, scratching at my terrace door, bringing a very tiny single kitten which looked like a midget. Next day, I had the same dream, the kitten crying and wanting to come in, Tana there and nudging it along. Hah, I thought, here was the wish the father to the thought.

Next day, I got an email from an old cat lady who had heared about my endeavors to find a little kitten. She told me she could only offer me one kitten, a male from a single litter. He would be also very timid and fixated on his mum and half-sister. Also, they lived 600 miles away. Interesting, I thought. I booked a train ticket, snatched a small kennel and off I went some weeks later. The kitten was really dimunitive, fitting the palm of my hand in size and clinging to his mum, and was named Newton yet wasn´t attached to the name. The breeder told me he wouldn´t like to be hold or patted and he would love cats much more than humans. So be it, I thought, he should be a friend for Palila anyway.

I took the little one home and named him Malu which means Bringer of Peace and Protector in Hawaiian. He responded to the name immediately and from the first day, he slept in the palm of my hand all night. Today, he sleeps besides me or in my arm, he is very huge now. Malu is affectionate, Palilas best friend and polite to our oldest cat and a nice play friend for Lihue who is more ethereal. Always the gentleman.

The breeder made us a care package with all the food which he loved best. So far. Strangely, he refused eating anything from this when entering his new home with us. Tana had a very peculiar taste and only ate food with fruits in it and we donated most of it to the animal care shelter back then. After some testing, we found out that Malu only eats the sorts which were Tana´s fav (and I never saw another cat eat them, not mine and no friends cats). He also adopted some of Tana´s behavior concerning playing, sleeping, character. And even when Balineses are considered a small breed, he outgrow his mum, his dad, his grandparents. He is eleven months now and weights almost the same as Tana and I am still amazed about all these facts! I am sure he is heaven sent and has connections over the rainbow bridge!

I wasn't sure if you wanted to be pinged or not.... Thank you so much for this chance :D

Sorry in advance for my lackluster story telling skills.

one of my favorite funny memories Once upon a time in my friend's basement... her parents had just put in brand new carpet but didn't have a coffee/end/any kind of table by the couch so I set my glass of cola on the floor. My friend's cat came over and layed down right next to the couch and stretched out toward the glass, so I told him not to spill the cola. He looked up at me and back at the glass and stretched a bit closer. I told him again not to knock the cola over. He stretched so his paw was just next to the glass. I told him, he better not. He looked right at me and stretched his paw out and tipped the glass over clearly on purpose. There wasn't anything in the room to clean the mess up with so while my friend was running off to find something to clean the mess up with, I used the kitty to soak the cola up with. He was so proud of the mess he made he got to soak it up ;P then he ran up on the stairs and watched us finish cleaning up. I asked him if it was 'still funny' and he gave me a big long kitty blink YES while still dripping with cola. After typing this I realize this might be one of those, only funny if you were there stories....

Thanks for doing this! Those bows are so lovely ❤

My funny story is rather simple and it's definitely one of those where you had to be there.
My daughters and I were in the living room - youngest was at one end of the couch, I was on the other end, oldest was on the floor talking to us. Next thing I know my youngest gets up and looks back at the couch. I ask "what is it" and she immediately interrupts and says "I thought I saw a white thing". I look over, eyes trying to focus on a beige colored couch for a white thing. She moves my way and starts lightly shaking my arm over and over, meanwhile I'm still trying to catch a glimpse of what she's talking about b/c she seems genuinely unnerved. A few more times of her repeating that and it somehow convinces me that there's something on the couch and I want to get up... problem is, she is right in front of me and is pushing on my shoulder as I'm trying to get up, still looking over at the side of the couch she just moved from. I move to get up, my action is interrupted by hers and I sit back down. Move up, sit down. This happened several times before my train of thought was broken as the fight or flight response started to kick in and I put my hands out to move her back so I could get up and said "what the hell are you doing?" My oldest was on the floor watching all this and burst out laughing. The reality of what she had just witnessed made me bust up laughing, just thinking about seeing it all from her perspective.

Still makes me laugh to this day. This was probably 5yrs ago.

So something funny/scary just happened this morning. So my puppy was chewing on something this morning and I took it from her and it was kinda furry but kinda looked like a shell. So I was like what is this to my husband and sit it down in front of him and started back to eating my breakfast. He was like its the rats ear. I screamed, cause I went from touching it to eating then realized it is this robotic rat that we have that our dog always plays with and she tore off ITS ear! LOL

Okay so I'm blanking on the funniest story so here's one that's pretty good...

Several years ago I was trying to do my taxes. I was looking all over for an important paper I needed but I couldn't find it anywhere. I was really really worried because I didn't know what I'd do without it. After several hours of looking my cat literally brought it to me! I will never know where it was or how she found it! Like, is it possible she actually understood that was the paper I was looking for? Did she take it in the first place??? (After that incident I discovered she had a thing for knocking bills behind a bookshelf and on one occasion she found the title to our car and brought it to us! After that we started taking care to file things immediately so she couldn't get them.)

Bow preference: Licorice, Vanilla, Bubble Gum

Well, I hope you were entertained with my story. Thanks for doing this!

(ETA: I've never won one of the bows before.)

Wellll I don't really have any particularly interesting stories to tell since my life is pretty boring and uneventful :P so I'll just tell one of my most embarrassing stories instead D:

Embarrassing Story Time! Once upon a time, many years ago on a hot summer day, when I was about 14 years old, my mom had asked me to go outside and water the garden for her. I reluctantly agreed, and went out to the side of the house and proceeded to water the garden with our hose. Just a minute or two had passed when I suddenly felt some movement on my inner thigh and a tickling sensation. I looked down in a panic, fearing it was an insect crawling on me, and sure enough, it was. A giant, nasty-looking hornet was crawling on my shorts right near my crotch area. I immediately began panicking and whimpering in fright. I didn't want to touch or fling it away, so instead I moved my body around hoping it would fly off of me, but it didn't. At that point, I could feel the sting and pain set in on my inner thigh. In my immediate panic to get the thing off of me, I ended up pulling my shorts off as fast as I could! While I was running from the side of my house to the front of the house and up the stairs to get inside, I noticed a few teenage boys were walking by and had seen me panicking and running up the stairs in my underwear LOL. I was too fast to see their reactions, but I just remember being mortified about that experience for so long, and even after all these years I still remember the incident so clearly in my head.

And that ... was the first and only time I had ever been stung by a hornet/wasp, thankfully. It was pretty painful, but no where near as bad as the embarrassment of knowing those boys saw it xD Gosh.

Hopefully the story wasn't too long xD thank you for doing this lil giveaway!

So, I am music teacher. One of my first years teaching, I had an observation, which is when an administrator comes in to watch you teach a class and then gives you feedback. Well, for this particular observation, the homeroom teacher (1st grade) told her class ahead of time that the principal would be coming in to watch them in music class. The class was great - well-behaved, great learning, etc. Fast forward to them being back in their classroom with their homeroom teacher. She tells them that they did a great job and that we're so proud of them. One little boy raises his hand and says, "Did we do a great job because I didn't pick my nose today?"

😂

Oh... children...

😂

You gotta love their honesty!

If the randomizer chooses me, I would love one of the following bows:

@ Beckyyy omg i almooooost forgot to come do this!! i have those bows wishlisted for a while now, since i rarely wear shoes they are so so good for my HAs!! thank you for hosting this fun event for us ❤️

i will write 2 shorts stories, events that have happened to me, of the "what are the chances?!" type!!

the first one took place over 2 decades ago, when i was a teen! my best friend and i started going thrifting, we just looove buying those grand-dad clothes (lol, ref to the Macklemore song XD haha) -- so anyways one day, i got to Value Village, and i find this amazing Merrell sweater, made of pure wool, striped in prune-y autumny colors... and i get very excited, because she owns the same!! so i quickly buy it! once home, i call her (yeah so, we still had regular home phones back then, sue me) and proceed to tell her all about it! but she didn't sound as happy as i was... she cut me and said.. "yeah so my mom was kinda pissed i didn't do my room and said i bought too many crap, so she took a bunch of my frocks and just... went to... drum roll guess it DONATE MY THINGS to Value Village! ............. so i had bought.... HER OWN SWEATER ;A;

second story is just a cute / strange addition... few years back my husband, my son and i went to see a beautiful 3D documentary about life and the universe, stars and planets and so on; at the science center's iMax theater! it was really special and at times dizzying because, you know, how small we are etc... (can't think too much about oblivion or things like that, yikes!!!!) so anyways the feature finishes, i have a few tears in my eyes... we get out, and start walking on the pier. it's a beautiful night (old port of Montreal, everyone needs to visit there once in their lifetime!) when... SUDDENLY....... A GREEN FLASH IN THE SKY!!!!!??!! i couldn't believe my eyes... as i gasped & screamed i was asking everyone around me if they saw what i had just seen, but alas noone else did???!!! BUT! end is: thanks to the amazingly fast technologies (lol) of Twitter, i was able to confirm the next day that a... COMET indeed passed at that exact moment.... that i came out a movie about that very same specific subjet!! : O

WHAT ARE THE CHANCES

o3o

thank you for reading, good luck everyone participating!!

PS.: my fav colors in order (1st is pref) (well my mostmost fav is black but i already own it lol winkwink) would be: Vanilla, then Grape, and finally Bubble Gum

I have never won a bow from you. The black one is my favorite, but after that, they're all my second favorite lol Maybe white then blue idk

I've been trying to think of a story to post here and for some reason my mind keeps going back to this time, gosh, had to have been 15 years ago. Definitely pre-cell phone days, at least in so far as being able to use them the way we do today. The power went out, so my mother and I were laying in bed, just chatting because what else were we supposed to do??? We're just being silly, we have a great relationship, my mother and I, when suddenly the lights come back on. And I screamed.

I mean, usually folks scream when the lights go out. But it was pitch black, and I guess we had the lights flicked on from when were checking if it was all of the lights or just a certain area in the house. And I was startled.

But if that story doesn't do it for ya, let me know, I would be happy to share a bunch of cat stories.

/edit I love your space story so much????? I will definitely get choked up and hold my cat when watching space documentaries and thinking about how insignificant we are. My husband's family has a cottage on a river, and whenever I'm up there, I drag out the blankets and lay on the dock and look at the stars. It's amazing how it can be so peaceful and so overwhelming at the same time. I saw my first shooting star out there (I've been a city/suburb squid my whole life - I also fed my first chipmunk at the cottage)

Well, I had a really hard time finding an interesting/funny/scary story... I must be a boring person, but no that's not the case. I just couldn't choose one.

So I will go with the most recent one. Few days ago me and my bf met our friends (my bff Claudia, her bf and his brother Peter). We were talking and drinking til 1 am or something. Sometimes when I say something I don't really think how it sounds like. Peter was saying how much time he spends on computer games etc. (literally all his free time after work). He and my bf were also talking about this game League of Legends, my bf Michael doesn't play that much since we were together. And I said to him: "See that's how you'd end up without me", suddenly my friend Claudia started laughing, really really loud and coudn't stop. It turned out Peter didn't have a gf and it was his soft spot. I didn't mean it like that but well... Upsie, I guess.

i sometimes say stuff like that :V

I love all bows but if I had to name top three, then:

@/Guava aww that is an adorable story!! ;-; It was a little bunny awwww @/ulalena Aww Malu is adorable! I loved your story, cats are the best <3 @/LadyFangirl omg that's the kind of thing my cat does as well! XD she knocks everything off everywhere, and loves to sit on any paperwork and makes it all crumpled ugh @/Taarna I bet that was hilarious to watch XD so funny @/Flyingkat omg it's a good thing it turned out to be a fake rat and not a real one! @/Maewen seriously i swear cats do the strangest things XD I bet she took it! @/Prismi Omg that sounds like the exact thing I would do as well! I hate wasps ;-; When I was little (probably around 7?) my brothers friend poked a wasp nest with a stick and rather than attacking him, they flew straight over to me and I got stung 8 times while running accross the field shouting for my parents. It was traumatic :( @/mayla EWWW XD That kid is way too honest. But I'm sure that helped! @/elka ahhh I loved both of your stories!! Especially the 2nd one, that sort of stuff fascinates me as well and I love comets! What are the chances it happened right then - I do love cat stories but I also loved your previous story! ^^ I think it's also scary when the lights come back on because your eyes adjust to the dark and it's quite startling XD Oh no!! I hope Peter didn't hear XD And I know what LoL is! My bf has played that before and we both play a game similar called Heroes of the Storm

Not that many people entered my giveaway, I think like 13 or something? and I couldn't let 3 people miss out, so I just decided to send every single one of you a bow (I managed to give you all one of your top two favourites, yay!)
