True. If nothing else, people could try putting their pets in for 1 day until they get it. I had about 28ish pets to put in (I keep 2 out for Gourmand) and it only took me about 13 before I got it. So it's ultimately a possible work-around for those who don't have island access. If it indeed requires that.

I'd be curious to know where people got their Random Events - on Omen Island or just somewhere else on the site?

I'm still fresh and healthy looking, Random Events always hated my account so I hope it's not necessary to have a faded avatar in order to participate in the plot, otherwise I may be doomed to watch everyone else having fun. looks around nervously

I really hope it doesn´t have to do with being in the Islands too much. I hardly ever go there. Although my account is almost never visited by random events. I get one ever so rarely.

It probably is weird but this is Subeta. During Survival we also want to become infected with a horrible virus and/or to have our organs and limbs removed by random people, sooo...it's all good. XD

Pretty sure I got my RE on a page that wasn't connected to the Omen Islands whatsoever

I'm hoping it has a little to do with the islands so that it at least gets a layout this year(but they may postpone it till they reopen the one shop next to the inn like they do every year.) lol, the only way I could tell I had it was going into my wardrobe and looking at the preview and what my ha looked like with . Grey's a little easier to see the difference to me.

I'm beginning to wonder whether I'm supposed to get it. Maybe he plot creates a division between people who are creeped out and those who aren't. Although probably not and I'm just bitter that this RE has been around for two days and my luck sucks.
