Aromatica Fine Teas is probably my favorite brand overall. I have a love for Traditional Medicines, though. Especially when sick. They have a decent lavender and chamomile for calming down. And I drink their Gypsy Cold Cure any time I'm getting a cold. They also have a licorice tea for when your throat is sore or hurting. I actually hate the taste of licorice, but I am fond of licorice tea. I have a friend from Egypt who invites over to his place when I'm sad. He cheers me up by making me super sugary egyptian licorice tea. He plays the harp and tells me stories and we talk until I feel better. We don't talk much now, but drinking licorice tea reminds me of him. Everything we do has memories attached. I like to think about them.

I would probably die of a broken heart if I had to live without books. I have shelves that cover my entire wall and smaller shelves full of books. I also have several moving boxes of books that are in storage for now. My favorite books (McKillip, Wurts, etc) I have read many times over. I have the Harry Potter collection, of course, like any good 80s/90s kid. I have never heard of either Richelle Mead or Kristin & P.C. Cast. Please suggest a book or two from each that would be good to start on? It's pretty awesome that you are studying food. I have tons of allergies. I get curious (and angry, of course) about things relating to my allergies. Like, why the heck could I eat potatoes growing up, but now they hurt? : Um... the books I've read from the authors Richelle Mead and Kristin & P.C. Cast have otherworldly/folklore/vampire themes. The books I've read so far from Richelle Mead are the Vampire Academy and Bloodlines series, while Kristin & P.C. Cast themed up to write the House of Night series and novellas. The younger Cast from the House of Night series author, I believe is Kristin Cast, recently released a new book called Amber Smoke. It was released last month.

Wow... so many allergies... Maybe you developed some bad feelings or maybe mixed the foods together so randomly that you developed allergies for those foods you mentioned. Well, I'm not a Nutritionist/Dietician expert by any chance, so maybe you should consult a doctor, Nutritionist/Dietician or a Naturopathist to see if they might be able to determine what caused it.

: Very limited and don't quite remember of the top of my head, sorry. It's in my holidays right now and don't want to think too extensively. ;P And besides, studying Nutrition has a lot of Biochemistry. Something I don't think my brain is able to handle. sigh xD

Hey, welcome to subeta. I'm another Neo transplant, though I came here three-ish years ago when my main got frozen. I got the account back but it sort of spoiled my enjoyment of the site, and it's been going steadily downhill since then. I still cling tenuously to it... after 12 years it's hard to let go... but only in the most basic way. I'll put my pets in the Neolodge occasionally. And remember to collect my bank interest like, 4 out of 7 days a week. >>;

As for me, I'm a writer, though looking at my pets it's probably not obvious. ^^; Most of them are characters from my novels and stuff. I also love to read and I watch a lot of anime.

Haha. Me, too! I was seeking out Neopets alternatives and checked out many and Subeta is the best. So, if you're investigating alternatives, don't bother because Subeta is the answer. I am 53 and live with 5 cats and 1 dog. I live in Atlanta GA. I have a large scarab tattoo on my ankle and purple highlights in gray hair. I am a conspiracy theory enthusiast. I don't play anymore. It was too costly/time consuming. I did have a draenei priest as my main for a while, though. I thought it was funny to go around yellin, "For the horde!" I also had a side undead priest named Heart. Haha. Get it? Anyway. I'd like to play again someday when I've time/funds.

- I got a scarab tattoo because scarabs are cool. I had 3 roses (2 upside up, 1 upside down), kinda shaped like an anchor or fish hook. It was a great tattoo but it faded and the scarab is actually a cover-up. It is about 4.5 inches up/down and across and colorful. I also do beading, my specialty being spiders.

Oh, no! I'll never leave neopets! Never ever ever! I've been playing since 2001 and will play forever! I'm just checking out other things of interest, too. Seeing if subeta is worth bothering my time over. I'm liking what I've seen of the userbase, though. ^_^

im from neo too! with that being said, i have sent a fellow neo defector a cup of tea! im known by the same name on neo, i still love neo but this site is proving to be a lot like it and seemingly much easier to make sP than NP. I also love thats its definitely more adult oriented and the filters, omg thats amazing, i can talk about things like neopets and not get in trouble! yay! I just got here last night, i read about subeta (believe it or not) actually ON the neo forums last night, thats right, ON the forums. Dont know if the people talking about it got in trouble, they didnt seem to, dont think the mods were watching very closely last night since they were dealing with the MASSIVE hack that just went down. I figured id try this out because of all the problems on neo lately, the most recent being the massive hack that JUST happened to tons of super old accounts. Peoples galleries that they had spent years and millions upon millions of NP got dumped right on the money tree, JS hasnt even said anything about it as of yet (go figure) and this is the 3rd day, though i havent logged on today but thats what was going on last night. Not sure at this point if theyre even going to do a rollback, people are pretty upset about it. So now most everyone is talking about leaving if they dont do a rollback. Can't blame them there. Ive been on neo for about 10 years on n off. Always loved it for what it is/has become, but JS is just not communicating enough. People understand theyve inherited Viacoms problems, but are definitely wishing JS would at least tell someone whats going on instead of leaving everyone in the dark about it, which is why people are threatening to leave more than because the site is messing up.

Anyways, now that ive rambled about neo for a bit, subeta seems pretty chill, which i love, though it is similar to neo its VERY confusing. The entire layout confuses the heck out of me, everything is hard to find and its really difficult to figure out what to do (i have figured out the newbie petpage and dailies and quests, but thats about it). But like i said, i just got here last night so it will definitely take some getting used to. Im not sure if i like the human avatars or not, i kinda like having the persona of my pet rather than a human avatar, but thats just personal preference. The pets here a super cute and some are really cool. I LOVE the blacklight color, LOVE IT! I also love that you can have more than 5 pets and can buy CSC in user shops. There are things i dont love already, but hey, theres things i dont love about neo too.

I read somewhere on one of these newbie forums last night that theyve ruined restocking with some upgrade? Since i just got here i have no idea what upgrades those might be but it does make me sad because i LOVE restocking on neo, thats pretty much what i do other than hanging on the forums and running me 2 petpages there. Ill have to look into it here to see what they meant when they said "restocking is pretty much ruined since the upgrades"...

Woaaah. That's crazy and cool that they're talking of subeta on neo. Just be sure to take safety precautions with your account. Don't have your password saved on your computer. And write down info about your neofriends, items, etc.

As for subeta, the quest system has really impressed me. It's mindless clicking, just a grind, but it's super easy SP. If you do all the available quests you can make 1m a day! I loathe restocking. Buying and selling is boring and gross to me. But the autoprice on the premium Gold User thing makes it easy. I don't like the way the avatars are drawn, but I like having one. The clothing variety and quality is awesome. Like on gaia. My favorite colors are spectrum, darkmatter, and blacklight. And so many neat names are available. strokes my office supplies
