Also, will the new wardrobe be called the "gamma wardrobe"? :P

OK, I mis-read that as Grandma Wardrobe! :D

Really love the skins and outfit sharing, so interested to see how the changes will help us use the wardrobe better.

Also, why is it if we have something in a drawer and we search it, it doesn&;t show up.
Oh my god! Is that why half my wardrobe doesn't show up in the beta?? I have been trying to figure it out for months! Thanks so much for mentioning this.

And thanks for the update Keith, much appreciated. I'm really looking forward to the final product. :D

I'm not even worried about the CPU/RAM usage (my computer is a boss, man. It runs every Sims 3 expansion. Beta Wardrobe, you don't scare me.)

I'm still just wondering why... all the items don't show up... and they're never in ABC order, and you see the same item on page 1, 2, 3... etc. I want that to be fixed, so I can actually use the wardrobe in the meantime, while you figure out your speed issue for everyone else. >.>

Good comparison.

Keith, I want to thank you for your hard work on the wardrobe issues. I'm not going to lie, I use the old wardrobe 98% of the time. I don't know how to remove an item to inventory in beta. I really wish the recent feature in beta worked. Not quite sure if it's recent by item ID or when it was put in the wardrobe. I also like the old wardrobe feature when you can remove an entire section to your inventory by using the wardrobe feature in wardrobe. 💕 When changing your face, where is the nose section? I must admit I don't mind the widened wardrobe but by the comparison above, the beta has a lot of space it could probably utilize better. I'm sure with the help from the folks doing the front end will be a tremendous help. Thanks for the update.

This is good to hear, it would probably take me three months to notice if something was up with the wardrobe, but it's a big concern for many users. c:

The only troubles I ever had with Beta was when I'd try to change any of the features (like skintone). Still gotta do that in the old one. And yeah, it didn't seem to think being left open overnight was acceptable like the old one did.

Can I be tentatively, hesitantly, mildly enthusiastic about this? I was really excited about the beta wardrobe, but we all know how that ended up. I guess any news is good news, at this point, rather than months of nothing at all?

I'm glad to see you guys are working on the wardrobe. I am looking forward to functional drawers or a tagging system or SOMETHING so I can find what I want more easily. Especially since the search feature only works in a single drawer at a time. The color match thing is pretty nice, though not everything seems to have its colors included -- and if you want something black, good luck because lineart gives a lot of things the black color without actually being black. The CW category is also nice, but newest items doesn't arrange them by time added to wardrobe, and that's irritating. I'm still having trouble with skins, avatar bases, and the other tabs. Many times using one of them makes my clothing images break, and they don't always want to close and let me go back to the clothing part of things. The ability to hide certain items on the avatar is also nice -- one of the best things, really -- and I like the links to CW shops or regular shops to get items I don't have.

The way some people spell makes me wonder about their pronunciation. My CW shop, and my ping group

I always use the Old Wardrobe for this as well, because removing Items in the new one is just... bleh. If I go to the Items tab in the new Wardrobe, it lists all my stuff with a little trash bin icon next to them. This is how you should remove them there I guess. (It even works, wow!, I tried it once. XD) But I'm not going to go through that list by name if I can use the old Wardrobe where I can actually see which Items to remove. ;o;

I'm happy about this. I love a lot of the ideas behind the new wardrobe. I don't like that it isn't working, but of course it makes perfect sense that it'd take some time and experimenting.

Here's to hoping this does the trick and finally ALL my clothes will show up in the new one so I don't have to switch back and forth. Exciting things!

~Thanks for the update. I have been waiting to hear something. I appreciate how hard you are working on this project. I am such a wears junkie. XD Beta wardrobe has been working better for me than the old one lately. Using current version of Firefox

~That's what screen formatting is for. I have a wide screen monitor, I have to scroll down a bit on the new wardrobe, but it's better than old wardrobe which was frequently not saving my HA's

I'm happy that this is being worked on! I really hope that some of the best features of the beta wardrobe will be transferred over to the Gamma wardrobe (sorry but this name has stuck, I love it). I also really hope that you'll open it up for testing first, maybe to GA users? And ask us for input. I personally have some ideas as to how the current beta can be improved as far as adjusting the sizes/locations of the boxes that would make it easier, etc. and I think it would be awesome if some group of players got to test this newest update before it went live, and give feedback that was really listened to, tested, and perhaps put into action. Especially if it were to make the wardrobe more functional for everyone :)

I've been using the Beta Wardrobe almost exclusively for a long time now (except to remove items because idek how to do that) and I like the way it works, minus the fact that you have to reset every drawer and layer setting each time you want to look at those areas. So I'm looking forward to a better/improved version.

Thanks Keith :)
