Something tells me this guy wanted to get rid of it. The only game he had left was a lame tiger woods golf game. My first PS2 game was a neopets ripoff of Zelda. I was already not a fan of the 3D Zelda games, but a bad ripoff with neopets is 10 times worse. Thankfully my brother got me Parappa the Rapper 1 and 2, which is how I really got into the experience, along with Spyro 1 which I bought for myself.

Oh god that ripoff sounds awful. The only 3D Zelda game I've played was that new Ocarina of Time 3D 3DS game that came out in the past couple years, but I know I've seen them being played and I think I would have hated the mechanics.
Yeah, that definitely sounds like he wanted to get rid of it.
I'm glad your brother got you games that you enjoyed. c: My brother and I shared most of our games, since we had to share the GBA and the Super Nintendo (the NES is technically my dads, so any games are his). But I had Pokemon games for my GameBoy Color and they were really what got me into this whole thing, in the first place.
I can't thank him enough for getting me Parappa 1. That game is RARE. I am hoping to get more music games but they all seem to be rare and expensive :O
I had Pokemon Silver, but it was a faulty copy, so my first real Pokemon title was Pearl. But when I was really young I shared a NES with my brother and we played a lot of Mario stuff.

What are some games you want the most? c:
Currently, Bust a Groove. It's a fighting AND music game. Also guitaroo man and Megaman Legends 2.
[flower=Tekki]

Fighting and music? That sounds really fun, and also like I would be completely awful at it. Assuming it relies on rhythm to be successful. I've only been good at one game like that, which is actually also fighting and music: Harmoknight.
That's a good list. ;u;
I love Harmonknight! Except Lyra's levels, they kind of annoyed me.
[flower=Tekki]

Yeah, I'm not the biggest fan of her levels either, to be honest. But I do adore that game, otherwise. I also really wanted the Final Fantasy rhythm game, but haven't had the money for it yet.
I'm not a huge FF fan, but I really love the cute look of this game. :D
[flower=Tekki]

I found the demo I played very enjoyable and also rather adorable. c:
Do you have a favorite game genre aside from music/rhythm games?
Platformers for sure. But generally I like anything cutesy and feel-good. I also like JRPGs that aren't overly complex.
[flower=Tekki]

Do you mind me asking some favorites of yours?
I'm not huge on platformers myself, but cutesy and feel-good is always absolutely fantastic.
My all time favourite is the Megaman series but I'm also a huge fan of kirby and Mario games, and some older SNES titles such as the Adventure Island games and Magical Pop'n.
[flower=Tekki]

I haven't heard of the last two but Kirby and Mario were my everything. Well, right alongside Pokemon (and Zelda, to a lesser extent). :D
