So my next question is, since when does Wiz ask for elixirs?? I got a quest for last night and for obvious reasons quit that quest.

Recently he's been asking for things up to the 30k range. I have no problem with this, but traditionally he only asks for things that are much, much cheaper.

Anyone have any insight?

Quentin just asked me for the Familiar, again.

Cinthia has again asked for the Familiar as well...

And the Standard of the Lion is at the Recycle Beast again.

The wiz has always been able to ask for Elixirs. The rarity on it is common, so it's fair game.

I was hoping since the Recycle Beast wasn't asking for something ridiculous today that it meant this was fixed. Apparently not, because Cinthia just asked me for a Richard Tiger Plushie.

Now it's Cinthia's turn (again).

I mean, in the scheme of things, one or two quest givers a day asking for items like this doesn't do much, and I have the option to quit the quest and move on, it's just... I guess I question why this keeps happening at this point and whether it's intended.

I'm also abruptly reminded that there used to be a problem with Item Hunt asking for things similarly unavailable, and that was a big reason behind the push for the new shop so we could purchase old-content items--but I'm not sure that would solve this issue here, since the Item Hunt is generally accepted as being an investment into higher-priced items for completion?
