I originally had her in a different pose to have her holding the cat... but it ended up looking horrendous, I had to scrap the whole thing and redo it OTL I tried, and failed miserably. Sorry for the delay. I'm working on screenshots for the slot I claimed right now, should have them to you later tonight. Getting them for the potential one I want to discuss with you is a bit harder since the character isn't someone you can take with you, he just stays at the base. I've got to wait until I can find a cut scene or something that has greater detail since the lighting in his office sucks really bad for screenshot details haha.

I think the younger one might work well in the style of your simple painted bust example, BUT you know your art better than I do. I'd be thrilled with either and would prefer whichever you think you can draw best. This goes for facial expression/emotion as well! Hopefully the references do a decent job of providing examples of those, but let me know if you need anything more from me.
