Aimsi is such a cute name, but I totally understand missing That Perfect Opportunity. I hope the name you want isn't too popular - and I'm so glad they've got them for sale in the MC now. Although the downside is that lots more people now have open pet slots. I changed two names and bought a third slot literally a half hour before the slot change from 5 to 10, so I feel super happy for making that choice. I would have been so upset had those names been gone.

I have...47 mil left. Restocking and sales have been awesome lately, so I don't think it'll take more than a few days, but it's still a few days too long, you know? xD

Not sure. It's just me and my mum walking him because my dad has his leg in plaster. I wanted to cry really and that say says a lot. I'm autistic and my face is usually just neutral, so if i'm crying ... something is fucking wrong. I was THAT upset.

Ohh close! How much do you make a day? I know the feeling. I have 11mil to go until 800mil which is my mini goal and then another 20mil for the pet slot. And at my current ratio of 4mil a day that will take me 7-8 days to get there.

It would take me about a week though to get to my pet slot though, so if that's too long to hold a pet I totally understand that.

I felt the same way! I was so nervous waiting for the end of the Questathon week, I just went ahead and spent CSC to change names and buy an extra pet slot just so I'd have the names before everyone got a slot, and I finished all the name claiming literally a half hour before that "everyone has ten slots now" announcement. It was all totally worth it.

Fortunately I don't have any names I feel like I need to have right now, at least not names that haven't already been claimed for years. xD

20 mil isn't too bad, though!

Right now? I'm making about 15 mil a day, give or take. It's mostly take right now since I really should be working and not buying things, but prices have rocketed on a lot of basic normal items, which is my bread and butter.

Try to do it all in one go when you have inspiration. That's how I do my pets, most of finished pets were the result of a sprint of several hours where I start with an idea and end up with a mostly finished pet. Result of my pet sprint from last week

He really isn't calming down. We took him for a walk, then played with him and he is still hyper and biting at everyone. My dog is in puppy classes, up to 12 weeks it's mostly socialisation and theory for the humans. But our first class yesterday was a complete failure because the class ways way more difficult then last weeks class we witnessed. The guy totally had zero experience with big dogs and just told me to pick up my dog if he doesn't listen. Euh yeah, let me quickly pick up my dog... he is 12kg's at 8 weeks and within 10 months he'll be more than 60kg's. I found a trick on the internet earlier when i was desperate: you need to yelp like a puppy does when bit too hard while playing. I just tried it twice in a row and he quit.

At least you were able to still get pet slots, i was maxed out and just sitting there: OMG I WANT THAT SLOT. I feel like there will be a really mad pet rush going on right now. Every nice name will be taken because it feels like we got more than 100 new members from neo. The names i want the most have been gone for years as well.

I only go at a 4mil ratio though, and with 30mil to go blah.

Yelping like a puppy sounds like a good idea, but at the same time, it's still a problem and that's so frustrating. I'd be about ready to cry, too.

Yeah, I've been pretty meh on pets. Most of my names are OC's and I'm all "I don't want Subeta to have rights over my OC stories" so they've pretty much been sitting around unattended. I can't imagine how frustrating it would be to really really want a pet and have a perfect name but have no way to get a slot. Super frustrating!

I operate under the motto of "buy all the things." If I think it's going to turn any bit of profit, I'll buy it. And right now that questing's all important and such, I'm seeing profits where I didn't see them a few months ago, so yeah...buying lots of things and selling lots of things. But I'm one of those people that really enjoys repetitive tasks, and buying things from stores fits that bill. It adds up. :3

That's right, Neo imploded. I've been noticing the Help forum has been a bit more...intense lately.

Yeah he is a giant puppy. Second biggest dog breed in the world I think? Or third biggest? He isn't paid though, it's a dog club entirely existing out of volunteers and apparently he is only a junior teacher. Lol the chairman of the club has an adult leonberger, he came to chat with us as soon as he got out of his car with his dog. Yeah it's still a problem, i hope he quits soon. It's not quite my day with all the biting and my mum just made me stand on a ladder while i'm afraid of heights.

I don't think Subeta would ever do something with other people their oc's ;) I love working on my pets but it's basically just short sprints.

I had several pets which i had no idea for when they were cleaning but i just went with it because the names were so good. But then i came up with my own little world within subeta and now most of my pets got idea's ready to be written out now. Oh i had to abandon a loved pet a month ago because i bumped into the perfect pet name in the pound and i had no slot left. So now i'm bummed, two of the names I wanted are now with other people because i had no slots back then.

Questing is making way more money now that keith made a change to it. I make around 2.2mil now every day without saggi quests o_0 I love repetitive tasks as well :D

Yeah it's kinda obvious, so many neo players ran over. It's the second wave, the first wave hit in september when the 1 week long server move happened. Help forums and suggestion forums have gotten some extra attention, so many newbies.

Aw, that's so sad you had to get rid of pet names you liked! Maybe someday they'll clear? I'd been namestalking Ryuujin for months, and when it cleared someone sniped it first, and I was so sad. But then randomly four months later, there he was, nowhere on site because they'd changed it, so I grabbed it. It could still happen! :3 Same thing with Andras. Wanted both those so badly, and they were both taken, and then...all of a sudden, not!

Hahaha. All the "Hey, I'm from Neo" intro threads have been kind of a big giveaway, too. xD I hope they settle in, what I would rather not see is this place turn into another neo. It's been so long since I've been there, but I still remember it. And not very fondly, especially the terrible restocking situation.

I'm doing incredibly well on the quests, too! It's been really fun. The week prior to QuestAThon was so terrible, it's like running through a spring field with sunshine and slow motion and cherry blossoms drifting and and and....yeah, it's so great. I'm really loving the whole situation.

65kg heavy and waist high next to an adult person. His dad is around 1m90 tall when he stands on his hind legs. He can actually stand against my father, leaning with his front legs on his shoulders and still be taller (and my dad is about 1m855). Apparently we picked a breeder with extra large ones because the chairman was like: "ohhh that's the one with the super big ones" when we told him the name of our breeders.

Yeah he even told me i'm not suited for a dog if i can't pick up my dog. I just stood there: wtf dude my dog is going to be huge, i'm not supposed to be able to pick him up. And he was weirded out that my dog didn't come to me yet when i called. And at some point Jussi actually fell asleep during class, try explaining that.

Bathroom opened up so time for some me-time. I got my hands on a nice smelling scrub today when i was in the city for some shopping. Testing time _

Someday, hopefully. I stalked one of those names for months but when i had to make the decision he was the one that had no character so yeah, out. Good to hear some happy name snagging stories :D

Yeah those topics are kinda a giant giveaway. There was a huge hacking spree going on around a week and a half ago? I was on holidays that week and tried to log in and couldn't get back in. And then i asked my friends and they said the site went tits up and a huge hacking thing was going on. That made most people run away. (my account ended up safe by the way, it just weirded out and didn't let me log in). All i still do there is send in neopian times entries, i'm on 7 now and i got one held over for friday of upcoming week. Still need to draw 3 more entries for collabs and then i'm done with neo.

Before the questathon and the changes from keith it was horrid to do quests. And now it's indeed like frolicking through the long grass on a sunny day in the mountains.

Wow. That's one big dog. He's gonna be so massive when he's grown! Ahahaha at you picking the biggest dog breeder out there, man. Does the breeder have any suggestions for behavior training? If anyone would know, they would, right?

He what now? That's sizeist. Physical force should not be required to control a dog. That's what training is for. Okay, so WHILE training I can see that being bigger than the dog is a benefit, but come on, we're not all six foot guys. The trainer kinda sucks, yo. He seems completely unprepared for actual training of an actual variety of dogs. Sounds like he'd be good with the lap-pooch variety, though.

Oh, I hadn't heard the hacking story. That's terrible. I just wander on about once every four months and do a few dailies and sell/buy some stocks, and then I'm done. I used to be really into the habitarium or whatever, but I forgot for a few weeks and didn't bother going back. I hear the new management dropped the ball big time. That site just went way downhill and has been sliding down hill for a long time now. Pity, it was lots of fun in the beginning.

I know, right? It was a chore, before. Now, it's like picking low hanging fruit off branches. I love it.
