The sP from item hunt is great! Why make it so you can no longer play, when you can make more than enough sp to BUY a swashbuckle by playing endlessly?

I don't know, exactly. I guess they're concerned about the amount of sP going out in the system and don't like that folks can restart it when they finish, even though there's an item out there specifically designed to faciliatate a restart. :/ Alternatively I think it might also be the price of the Swashbuckle plummeting, but you'd think they'd fix the fact that the "price today" and "average price" is messed up rather than restructure the game around the broken functionality. shrug

I think they said they were concerned with the number of swashes going into the system.... which means they basically did a band-aid fix rather than actually fixing why so many people were easily completing Item Hunt.

I finished IH but hadn't used a tome so I'm stuck never being able to use it for sP now. Grrrr.

Yeah, it seems a bit extreme to cut off everyone from item hunt because one item is plummeting in price. The incorrect pricing features drive me nuts. I don't even bother look at them any more, since they're never right :/

Wow that is a pretty hefty goal! I'm kind of scared to see how much I should be making daily, because I know I'm not. The worst part is I signed up for a ton of collection goals too, so I need a ton more money than just the pure amount :P If I'm gonna fail, at least I'll fail big!

I've never found it to be too easy. WITHOUT fail I get a 25+ million item in the mid to low 70s :S Though maybe if I push past the one speedbump it woulda been fine.

Regardless I'm regretting not finishing item hunt earlier :/ Because I'll forever be missing that achievement or unable to collect endless piles of money.

That sounds totally legit, but yeah, it does feel like a bandaid rather than addressing the root issue - the misestimated values of what's being asked for in the hunt.

The incorrect feature drives me nuts every single day. I can't tell what anything's worth. On the other hand, I'm getting into the habit of just buying anything likely and flinging it all in the store, but it's such a pain for higher price items. I really wishthey'd fix it.

I'm wondering now why I set my goal so high, yeah! Oh man, collection goals too? You can do it! Yeah, lol, at least you'll be in good company. There are a LOT of really stretchy goals on the list this year!

I'm still working on my 45k item hoarding achievement, so I'm making next to nothing in pure right now. I'm hoping and praying when I finish I'll make a gajillion sp by selling off everything all at once.

I have to make something like 300m in pure and get around 350 more collectables. I tried to be realistic given that I'm item hoarding for half of the sprint time. Library quests have been very helpful giving 2-3 worthwhile collectables each day :P Quentin, though, has been making life hard. WHERE are my mage amulets?! :K

Ugrh that one's hard. I'm slowly working on that too and I've reached this--plateau. Things are so expensive! Hoarding is hard.

I like all these token shop restocks,though, all these "new" old items that I can fling in the store. It's lovely. :3

I got lucky with the multiples one - because of the Free Beer Incident. Coincidentally that also netted me an Ametsuchi when the Recycle Beast decided one day that he really wanted to tie one on. I think we might have lagged the site we drowned him in so much Free Beer.

I don't vend much at all so I've got a surplus of tokens. It's got to stink for people who vend regularly and don't have a bulk of tokens to dip into.

I...think they were concerned the amulets would drop in value. Which is kind of odd because you'd think people would WANT cheaper stat boosters, but then the argument went that it would lower the value of other stat boosters as well, and...I don't know. Something about money and value. shrug

Nice job! Just looking at that many quests is scary. I'm really enjoying the less quests part of not renewing gold. My vault doesn't agree.

It seems to go through up and down phases. I understand not wanting to devalue stuff... But isn't there a happy medium? Getting no amulets for 3 days straight is depressing since that's all Quentin is good for.

That's awesome! I was wondering where all that free beer came from! I've only been on the site coming up 8 months now so I've missed a lot of events! I don't think it'll take too long to finish non-unique. fingers crossed Unique on the other hand im saving until I have nothing better to do! How far do you have to go?

Yeah, I agree. And honestly I'd rather have more amulets than less, since the exchange rate for tomes is really rough and Quentin's requested items cost a LOT. I got lucky and got two amulets from them today, but the days with none are super discouraging. I hope you get some luck tomorrow!

Oh yeah, that was when they opened the brewery in Veta. I guess someone didn't realize that if you offer free unlimited items to everybody for days, then people are gonna avail themselves of that. Oh lord, I think I'm at 23k and have most of the easily-gotten items. I probably won't ever manage that goal, but I guess it's worth working toward? I kind of like having a dragon hoard, though. I don't know if I'll ever be able to bring myself to sell it all off afterward.

I've made 5m or so since spending 45m. And I made about 5m or more before, so today I'm only -35m, really...

I don't think I'll ever get the 45k unique items. I'm at 22.5k and I'd rather sell my items than shove it all in my hoarding shop.

The exchange rate for amulets does seem a bit absurd, and sP payoff from Quentin is always less than the items asked for. The only quests that are worse are Cinthia. She never gives anything good. Ever.

Haha, people will take free stuff, even if they don't even want that free stuff. I was wondering why that's the ONLY item Major Drills ever asks you to delete. Now it makes sense.

I'm up to about 25k non-unique items, and 8.5k unique. I'm hoping it'll take another month to get 45k non unique, so I can really push for my sprint and sell everything :) 25k is well on your way! It's something to slowly work on adding to, even if you don't want to aim for it full tilt.
