I don't always buy from the first shop listed. I always check to see if the Main Shops are selling for cheaper first. If not, then I buy the cheapest user shop. If more than 1 shop is selling an item for the same price, I buy from the one that has the least number of that item. I figure that this way, I am taking a shop off the shop search list and the price of the item might actually increase. If one shop has 20 of the same item for let's say 2000sp, versus 20 individual shops for 2000sP for an item, then people are more likely to keep their price at or above 2000sP then to price it below 2000sP.

If a lot of user shops have the same price, then I usually try to buy from one who only has 1 of the item, instead of the user who has like 200 because they've hoarded. And also sometimes from those whose names I like!

I used to just buy the top one, but after reading this thread ive actually been buying mostly the ones with the least amount of said item, as long as they're still the cheapest or close to the cheapest. I totally understand why a lot of you do this because Im a neo restocker and when im stocking my shop there i always get upset about the people with 30 of the same item undercutting everyone else just to try to "corner the market", thus driving the prices down due to everyone else not wanting to wait for the person sell out of 30 items, so they price lower than what they would have if '30 item guy' had only 1-3 of said item. I only ever stock 3 of the same item at any given time on neo. Im beginning to pick up this habit here on subeta as well, when i first got here i was restocking like crazy because its SOOO much easier to restock here than it is on neo where im used to RS'ing. Since reading this thread ive definitely changed up my habits here :)

I want to be done with my quests asap so I just click on the first button of the list. Couldn't care less if there is one item in stock or 12mil as long as I receive my stuff and can finish the quest. Why so many people refuse to buy from bigger stock amounts is a mystery to me, some of the owners might be like me - vending quite often but autopricing rarely because I am not rich enough to purchase a GA on a regular basis. shrugs

I usually buy the 1st one since I'm all about convenience when I'm questing.

I'm the same way when buying from shops :P I try to spread out the sP rather than buy from shops with hundreds of one item in stock

I usually buy from the first one in the list, though if I'm just buying something/not questing I'll usually go with the shop name I like the best. It's kind of silly, but people have come up with some really great shop names.

whenever i'm questing, i usually buy from the first shop listed, but if i notice the same shop name popping up i try and pick the second or third shop. don't know why, guess it kind of feels more fair. don't want one user to sit on all my spent sp, heheh.

I try to spread my sp around too, and not always pick the top shop that appears. Im also not big on buying from hoarders, I don't really know why, it just bothers me when I see someone with 300 of the same items everyone else has 1 of and they are all priced the same. I always go for the shops that have smaller amounts.

I always do this because I like the idea and I think it helps spread the sP around :)

I normally purchase from the first shop, but otherwise if a cute shop name stands out to me I will purchase from them if the prices are the same. Or if I start to notice a particular shop popping up in my search results frequently for the day I often gravitate towards them.

I don't like buying from hoard shops unless if I absolutely have to.

I think it's kind of cute to end up buying from the same shop often due to coincidence, so sometimes if I see that I've been unintentionally doing so, I'll seek them out. :P But, again, not if it's only because they hoard tons of every item.

I usually always buy from the first listed, sometimes mine pops up because I never know what I have already, haha. I haven't thought of not buying from a hoarder if a shop only has one. I'll have to remember to do that. O:

I do buy the first result. I don't care about what other people are hoarding I'm just trying to do my quests as fast as possible, for the lowest prices possible.
