In case you aren't aware, parts of the SB have been updated at the expense of a whole bunch of other parts. There are more issues now than there were before.

• The Comment Bubble Move This was meant to fix the problem with long users names getting cut off. It mostly does good, except:

I use custom CSS that makes my shoutbox 200px wide, about 40px more than any Subeta layout's shoutbox. I shouldn't run into this issue. I think this is more a problem with there not being a maximum character limit on usernames, and this needs to be implemented. This shouldn't happen.

• The Filter Anyone who used the shoutbox knows the filter used to auto-filter everything until you refreshed. We're now at the point where it doesn't filter for anyone.

...wait, that's not true. It does filter for some people. If you do happen to have the filter on, you get auto-filtered when you try to swear.

• Hello, Smail Coding If you've every tried to use > or < in smail, you know it instantly deletes everything you've typed, and you find you've sent a blank message. Lovely, right? This is now how the shoutbox works. Say goodbye to your cute >.< emoticons.

• Disappearing Trick? Shoutbox posts now like to disappear as you browse the site. We keep being told "Give it a second, and it'll pop up" and occasionally if I refresh, it does indeed show up, but occassionally I get a blank shoutbox that doesn't load old posts at all, and only slows newer posts.

I seriously wish the site could focus on one issue and just fix it completely before half-assedly jumping to something else.

Restocking is broken for the most part, wardrobe is hardly a complete project, forums are having issues (double posting/forum points....), now battling is getting changes.

I don't care for the SB, but it just goes to show the status quo here.

Also another bug is that when you're loading shorter pages with the SB, any extra widgets you have underneath your shoutbox get eaten up. So if I'm collecting my shop till and want to go to a quest...gotta go to a new page because om nom nom, my widgets got eaten up.

Honestly its become more of a hassle than an improvement for me.

I do think the comment bubble being moved was a good start but honest to god, there should be a character limit for usernames because some are just too long to begin with and can cause overlapping in the forums as well.

Overall I'm just not seeing the "improvements" we got with the "new sb" and its a bit disappointing.
