Ella had not looked at the folder once, she decided she would like the surprise. She did wonder what the could possibly need her for. While she thought herself to be the bee's knees, she was no idiot. She knew that almost everyone here didn't really trust or think she could be any help. It was bs, but she was determined to make these fools see her true potential! The soft ding of the elevator pulled her from her thoughts and left her in dark hallway.

'[Screams. Shouts. Snap. Break.]' Did she think that? Yeah she must of.

The farther down the hall she got the more mystified she was. This was some serious clearance she was being let through. This was some leash they were giving her, who else was heading this shin ding. Getting to the door she was directed to she slammed her arm against the band reader hoping to break it but only groaned. She should of guessed security would be state of the line. Ella let out a long whistle as she watched the giant bear struggle against the restraints. She better than anyone knew there was no getting out of those. "What-a maroon." She snickered before hearing heavy footstep behind her. Damn how many people did she have to work with?! She got antsy with so many people she was supposed to obey. Ugh it made her skin crawl.

[D.E.A.F]

Running down the stairs to the basement levels in the flickering light of neon strips turned out to be a bad idea. While much faster than waiting for the torturously slow elevators, whirling down the steps and turning a hundred and eighty degrees every ten seconds didn’t do too well for the inner ear. After two minutes of running at his enhanced speed, Roux found himself leaning against S- 60’s stairwell door, head spinning and a faint thread of nausea threatening to grow stronger every time he looked around.

After a few minutes he straightened, lurching slightly before correcting himself and moving into the hallway. It was the first time he had ventured, or been called, to anything below S-20. Moving down into the depths of the complex opened an entirely new set of possibilities for a fourth class agent. While not entirely sure why this case had been presented to him, it would be stupid of him to refuse such an opportunity.

After all, the lower the level, the more interesting the subject, the less boredom with petty cases.

Nevertheless, the layout of S-60 was entirely unfamiliar to him. The first two branches in the hall had directional signs. The third junction had nothing. Roux looked both ways, shrugged and picked one at random. After a minute of walking and seeing nothing but windows into empty rooms, he doubled back hastily.

Siir gave a sense of uncurling and stretching lazily, presence suddenly expanding into the foreground of his thoughts. It would have been surprising if you had chosen the correct pathway. The Daemon gave his usual coughing bark of laughter. Always the most efficient traveller indeed.

Eh. Roux waved a mental hand negligently. I’ll eventually find the right way. It doesn’t hurt to explore. To that, his Daemon gave no response, choosing to emanate a faint sense of irritability instead. If it was anything that linked the two most strongly, it was their desire to discover and experience the newer things in life.

As he rounded the corner, the faint “ping” of an elevator sounded somewhere close. With confirmation that he was travelling in the correct direction, Roux increased his pace somewhat. The stairs were located in a corner of the area, if he was to judge from the aboveground levels, and the time taken to run back to the complex from the park had been extended from the original estimate. Hopefully, the other agents hadn’t begun the initial meeting without him.

Another corner and the elevators came into sight. Unlike the stairs, they were conveniently placed next to what seemed like the busiest part of the area. He paused for a second.

Perhaps I should have taken the elevators instead.

Staring at blank metal walls and counting the levels down? Siir exuded disapproval. I think not.

Roux dragged a hand through his hair in a mostly unsuccessful attempt at brushing away the unsettling feeling and continued towards the hall. Some way down its length, past a few interesting views on various room’s inhabitants, he halted, intending to turn to put his back against the wall and lean there for a while to watch the proceeds. Judging by the various files visible in hands, these were the agents assigned to this particular case.

Joshua Mentle + Foyri [DEAF Agents]

Joshua took a few steps back from the agents after they gave him a nod of understanding. He settled somewhere in between the scientists and the agents with out the understanding of which group would need him more. Well, even if he did know he would probably still be standing somewhat lackadaisically with his hands clasped behind his back listening to the room due to the fact that the bear was what held the control in this situation and with out the feedback he was getting from watching it, he would probably be useless in any of the two teams. Foyri hissed at him and told him that he would be useless even with the information but Joshua payed no attention to him or, really anything but the bear, as more people rolled into the room.

By the time that he was roused out of his concentration, about 5 minutes had passed. In that short time the room had grown almost crowded and the bear had only calmed down slightly. It would probably be answering the questions that were half heartedly being thrown at her with in the next few minutes. He was tentative to completely disregard his spot but when his name was shouted with the bait of he was needed he turned his head out of reflex to see an old face. Turner was a women that Joshua had probably come into contact a few times then the other agents. He wasn't sure what their relationship was. If not for the competitive gleam and conceited air that he associated with her, he would probably consider her a friend. In fact, in spite of her obvious need to prove herself better then him, he did considered her as such. Probably because he found it somewhat amusing that she was always so annoyed with him when he already saw her as an authoritative figure.

Joshua headed outside of the glass door that she had been wedged in upon first glance, and stopped in front of her with almost unnoticeably upturned lips. An obedient, "Where am I wanted, Mrs. Turner?" began it's usually route out of his lips but before more then a few words could leave his mouth a loud "Silas Riel, Geneses class three reporting!" ,interrupted him and he looked to see a man who took his job seriously calling out to them.

Sticks + Jn'reh [Rogue Taken]

All the women had ever wanted was a bit of acceptance. When she was a child, girls didn't want to play with her because she was so aggressive and boys ostracized her because she was a girl. Even her father seemed to want to change her, constantly putting her into pink and pastel green skirts and excluding her from 'manly' activities such as the long camping trips he would go on with out her. When Jn'reh had come, she had thought that maybe she had finally found that little piece of comfort that her friends didn't even seem to understand. Maybe, this monstrosity was a blessing. Sticks had ignored the growth of feathers and had tried her best to be patient with the owl, she had changed so much because of him-she had given so much yet all she seemed to get in return was localized pain all over her being.

Sticks laughed bitterly at the thought as she threw some stones in to the forlorn lake in front of her. She had wandered here after her small break from reality, with out really knowing where she was going. She still didn't know why she was here but it was better then being in a camp full of people who looked at her the same as normal people would have if she was walking with in their streets. Sighing, Sticks put her head in her hands and spoke out loud to Jn'reh, "Come on, we both know that you know that you are sorry so what do you want me to do? I can't help you if you're going to be silent..." She then waited for the taunting voice of the owl, or atleast for his claws to take a hold in her brain but, still, it seemed that he was absent from her. She just felt so empty, more alone then when she had only had one mind in her skull...

Sticks growled after a few moments of staring at the glinting waters and blue mist, then hoped off her pile of stones. "Fine, if you want to play it that way then go ahead. I don't need you, I survived with out you and it's not like you can ignore me forever." ,she muttered s she started tromping off and into the wilderness. She was cooled off but not quiet enough to head back to the little shanty town. She would probably just look for some wood for burning or food. Those were two things that everyone always needed and maybe if she brought them it would force the eyes around her to be a little more soft around the edges.

Ilony and Iktha "Oh, my name's Ilony." she said, rushing to catch up to Matthew. Despite being told who Nicholas was she didn't want to introduce herself to another person quite yet. "I don't have much to trade." she said quietly when she caught up, calming down a little bit. "What do you do? For housing is it whatever scraps we can find?" she inquired, not really sure what to say. The cougar daemon remained silent, lapsing into quiet monitoring of their surroundings. She stepped nimbly over roots and lightly jumped over the small mud puddles that came up in their path. "Is it really ever not foggy?" she added after a brief silence. Again she reminded herself to shut up so he'd have time to answer her questions.
