At least people have stopped (mostly) calling me a goth. Just because I wear mostly black and preserve my ghost like pallor..and complain about summer bitterly until Autumn and my beloved rain return..and am already looking forward to Halloween. But at least it's not as annoying as people pointing out that smoking is bad for me. Really? Well, thank fuck you were here to teach me this hitherto unknown lesson.

There's normally someone in the office who has something witty to say if they see me heading out. Or telling me I should quit because I'm not a heavy smoker. I like smoking, and while it might shorten my life it has significantly lengthened other peoples. So they should be grateful for my sacrifice. I'm such a child of winter - I love the cooler weather. Autumn is my favourite season. We don't have that much pumpkin spice here, I don't think I've ever tried it. But gingerbread spiced lattes...Homer drool
