Any chance those Frosty/Midnight Alley BGs may be for one tiny sale? I was inactive for a long time and therefore missed the release and it breaks my heart everytime I see these. :<

Hi, unfortunately those ones were both public for 24 hours and then restricted to friends only. Trust me, I'd love to open them up again when people say they missed them, but that wouldn't be fair on those who slotted at the time (and, I'm fairly certain it'd be against the rules!). That said, there are about 5 batches of each on site and they do crop up from time to time on the r200 boards. I also put up any return copies for trades/sale there too c: (sorry it's not better news, I've missed things too, so I feel your pain :c )

2K?! Goodness! I'd hope to not see them go for much more than slot, so that kinda makes me a bit sad. I'm sorry :c I'm afraid there aren't any further recolours planned. Partly because it was drawn a couple of years ago, and partly due to a lack of free cash on my part (redundancy+baby). If I'm releasing anything new these days it's because I've been sitting on a folder of recolours of things for quite some time!

No, it's okay, really! You can't influence at what price people want to sell the backgrounds. xd HP is always very popular, so it's easy to find people who will pay such a price as well, though. :'D I understand that well - I was looking into creating CWs as well, but it's just so expensive to begin with! So sorry for your redundancy! That's really sad, but I hope you have a great time with your baby! ♥

No, true. It definitely is something you get into for the love of the item, rather than any notion of making profit. I don't begrudge the artists a penny, as they put a lot of time and work in to make quality pieces, but is it definitely something to factor in if you're commissioning things! At the time I was hella upset, but now I guess it all happens for a reason? Being a mum is the best, so, I'm cool with it. admires/covets your sweater

Yeah, I thought months ago that the cw artists get a lot of CSC from that...how wrong I was. :'D Maybe I should start saving every month to potentially release something in the future. :'D I was planning to draw them by myself, but the Subeta art style seems quite different to my own...so it's not top priority on my list. xd
