- thank you for posting this...I agree that a change is needed. I would enjoy stickers so much more if it was easier to organize. I would love to see some options to organize while still keeping the ability to organize how we want...haha easy for me to say since I know nothing of how that could be created.

Staff, please please please fix the sticker collection! It's a hot mess!

I agree that something needs to be done about the organization. It's really a terrible system. I hate to say it, but this might be one of the very (very) few things that Neopets does better. They have stamps rather than stickers, but it amounts to the same thing. They're arranged by land, with other categories for like different site events, holidays and etc. So maybe we could have something like that, with a "front page" where people could display their favorite stickers, or spell things with them as some (me included) like to do. Maybe a way to add your own categories (and also maybe delete or hide categories you don't want, even default ones). And some other way to organize them rather than drag and drop. Something more like the wishlist or vault.

Also... and I know this has been suggested and rejected before, more than once... but I still don't understand why we can't add stickers to our own albums like we can with all the other collections? No one would collect stickers ever if we all had to wait around for a friend to put them in our books for us! That's just never made any sense to me. I think I'd love collecting stickers if I didn't have to ask someone to do it for me.

Even if it's an sP sink where you pay a couple thousand sP for the ability to stick yourself; we need something. I hate having to save them up, put them in trades, and then go pester strangers in the Achievement forum to add them for me.

It definitely needs a revamp...

Because I have like 5 or something idk, this collection literally means nothing to me because I can't think of many things (on subeta) as unappealing as badgering the shit out of other people to stick me. And of course the lulzy logic of staff @ GOTTA COLLECT THEM ALL WHILE POTENTIALLY TRUSTING TOTAL STRANGERS WITH ITEMS THAT YOU WILLINGLY GAVE TO THEM FREE OF CHARGE.. gais never give your items to total strangers use the trade center, unless they're stickers apparently. Great words of advice we get on every inventory page when giving items to others but that staff don't seem to feel applies to stickers that cost an arm and a leg.

Ie: why I have liek 5 stickers and won't be collecting them anytime soon. This is just another good reason supporting my idea is a good one.

I totally think that there are a hundred different ways that could make this collection better organized. For the people who like it the way it is, I can respect that, and I think the option to keep your collection as is should remain. IF you are one of the people who would like to customize your collection, then there should be the option to customize.

There could be the option to alphabetize if thats more your style, or like me, I like to organize mine by holidays, or by similar categories, and then there are the stickers that don't really belong in a particular category or set, I think I would put on a MISCELLANEOUS page.

I really like ALL of your ideas. I am an avid sticker collector. I am sorry for the people who don't like collecting stickers because of the issue that you can't stick yourself. I think this option adds an ambiance to the collection. Unlike the other collections, it isn't instant. Yes, for the most part I do collect MOST of my stickers myself, and I have a friend whom I send all my stickers to so they can be added when they log on. I understand this may not be an option for some of you. Maybe you don't have a friend on here you trust enough to send the more expensive stickers to, and I could see how it might make you shy away from this collection.

But I think that the sticker trading forum really helps a lot with this, and I don't think that trust has been a huge issue. There may be a handful of untrustworthy people out there who spoil it for the rest of us. I am sorry about that.

But I think the collection in general, as it is growing so big, has a lot of potential for change. I really hope that Keith or one of the other programmers reads this and can find an option that will satisfy most everyone.

Thank you all for your input. I really didn't expect all of these ideas, but I have read through this topic, and even creating it myself, I had not thought of all the creative ideas you all have brought to the table.
