Already in the process of having number 8 done. It will have the cult letters in the peak. It's looking awesome!! I'm so excited. I will ping everyone to my thread when it is done so you can look to see if you want one. Unless I'm allowed to do it on here in a post??

I'm sorry you've been having a hard time the last couple of weeks but glad life is better now. You'll just have to make yourself a crocheted purse now. Would love to see a picture of it and the little shrug you made your daughter. Be prepared for all of her friends to want one too. That would be so nice to have with tank and sun dresses.

Thanks ! Once I get my Father's day goodies out of the way, I am thinking a new bag is definitely in the cards for me. I will have to find a way to post the photo of the bag as it's on my phone. The only one I have right now of the shrug is on my daughter and we have a rule in our home that we don't post our kids on the internet anywhere. Maybe I can find a way to drape it so it displays well on a chair or something for a photo.

Sorry for not hanging out in here very much... I've missed so many birthdays, anniversaries and everything it's crazy. Guess I've just been in my own little world since tax season is over. I have no excuse, but I am sorry.
We plowed up a section of our yard starting a garden for veggies. Hope my thumb isn't as black as I'm afraid of. It will be our first real garden on our own. Chris grew potatoes last year and there were still some in the ground after we tilled today we found them, lol. Must have missed them when digging last year. Oopsie!
Chris still hasn't found a job, he did get approved for 40 percent disability I think I mentioned that before in here. Also, he's planning on going back to college this fall to be an occupational Therapist and help other disabled vets as well as others. I'm trying to find work since tax season is over and they won't need me until next January. Not having much luck though. :(
My youngest daughter decided she doesn't like living here with all my rules and stupid stuff that mom's do since she's 19 eye roll so she moved out and into my mom and dad's house. snickers, she went a long way huh? lol Anyway, she has a job at mcdonalds so her life couldn't be better without me bossing her around and making her life miserable. Yay for everyone except for me! I'm so frustrated with the whole situation.
Anyway, my neck of the woods kinda sucks but I know others are having way worse times of things and this is nothing in the grand scheme of things. So se la ve, or how ever you spell it, lol!

Finally after a busy week i am 3 days off! -happy dance-
Oh wait no happy dance as i have to take it easy. The whole week is was short of breath and my chest hurted a bit. After some self medicating i decided to call the doc yesterday. Went in and guess what i bruised my sternum. I got better pain meds and it has to be over in a few days... i hope..

Did you all see the antique shop? The prices are so pricey, so not funny.
I was floored and disappointed when I went into the antique shop! How do they expect anyone to afford those items?? I think it was a waste of time to do. :(
Anyways, I got all my cooking done for a picnic tomorrow. I'm exhausted from all the work.. LOL It should be a nice day for us.. Does anyone else have any special plans?? I hope they go wonderful for those who do. :D
on another note... My youngest is doing well in therapy. It's going to be a very long road for her though but we will prevail in the end. She's a strong girl and has a strong will. She's determined to get it sorted out and put in the past so she can go forward. My other daughter, however, is treating us like villains. Refusing to talk to either of us and it hurts my youngest so much.(me to) But we keep praying. I hope someday she will face the truth and come around.
My son fell in love and moved out. They plan to marry next year. I still have my daughter and grandson living here yet. At least we have a bit more room now. (in case of all the confusion.. I have 5 children, oldest to youngest... Jennifer, has 2 girls 1 boy.. Shannon (the one not talking to us), has 3 boys, Mike has no children but is engaged... Amanda (lives with me) has a son... Aizlinn, my youngest is 13. LOL so, 5 children and 7 grandchildren. how lucky am I??? :D

Hi Kysta. Hope you have a beautiful garden. Bruce has radishes, onions, peas, carrots and tomato plants in a little garden spot. First time in a few years we've had anything other than flowers and tomatoes in pots. I pray Chris gets a job soon. Good for him for going back to college in the fall. I pray you find a job you like until you're called back to do tax returns. When one of my sister's grandsons decided he was mistreated at home, he phoned my sister to come and get him. She went over and there he was with his suitcase packed waiting for her. She told him he was very blessed to have the parents and home he had and he could just take himself and his suitcase back in the house and learn how to respect his parents and their rules. He was pretty shocked, but now he's the one that is the closest to her and is always the first to go over if she needs something done. 😄

I agree with you girls, the antique shop is ridiculously priced. Was really looking forward to seeing it but it's not for me. Very disapointing.
You look gorgeous Lorax. Your CWs are really striking!It's not a holiday for us this weekend but we did have a nice steak bbq at my daughter's yesterday. Enjoy your picnic. I'm sure it will be delicious. It's so good to know that Aizlinn is strong and is coming along well. I pray her sister wakes up and the relationships are restored soon. Five children and seven grandchildren are a blessing Jackie. It will all work out well for your family with love, patience, time and the hand of God I'm sure. ❤ Hope everyone is enjoying the weekend whether is's a holiday for you or not. 😄
, you will never be gagged, lol! Talk all you want. I'm sorry your one daughter isn't speaking to you, best you can do is keep praying. I'm also glad that your youngest is doing better. As a survivor of this type of thing myself (I don't talk about it much) It is very important that she is getting the help and counseling that she needs (You may need it too). The fact that you believe her and have her back unconditionally is more helpful than you will ever know. My family never believed that my uncle would do the things that he did to me. My mom believes but she rationalized it in her head to not be as bad as it was so she could deal with it. I don't push things and I still have to put up with him at family get-togethers, plus he lives right beside my parents so I've learned to ignore him as best as I can. You are doing all the right things so don't let the other daughter get to you.
I'll keep you posted on my garden, . I'm excited about it and went overboard getting seeds yesterday but I am determined. :)

I was shocked at the Antique shop, it's ridiculously priced. I don't know what the point of having it in the first place if they are going to be that expensive. I dread when they add other things into there.
She knows we have her back from day 1 which is very good. We go to therapy with her every time. (daddy to) And we do something special after as a family, just the 3 of us. It just pains my heart to not be able to talk to all my kids and grandies. They are my life. I'm so sorry that you experienced the same thing. It's a most devastating thing to happen to a child!! /snugs you tight! I will continue to pray and leave it in God's hands.

Thank you for the tour of Centropolis Kysta. It was so much fun doing it with our cult friends. After a long day of site seeing, shopping at subetique and laying our flowers on the memorial, the picnic was a perfect ending to a wonderful day!
