Hi, I am wondering if I could be slotted for the second group of the 4 Technicolor and Galactic Wigs and Regalia? My payday is next Saturday and one of my dogs (Patches) seems to really like going to the vet - at least she likes to get quills from the porupines! I will watch for the ping but if you could message or smail me that would be excellent if it isn't too much trouble. They are lovely !!!

OMG you have a a pet that loves the vet too! Last year ALL of mine took turns every week. So far so good this year for most part knocks on wood I figure last year my vet made close to 3k just on me and my herd (I have WAY to many).

I can relate to that. Occasionally we go two months without a vet visit and then it seems we need to make up for our absence. We have three dogs plus a fourth that we are fostering - an Irish/Scottish Wolfhound (Gio). We would really like to adopt him but he doesn't like one of our other rescue dogs (Ben - sort of a husky) who has been with us for several years. We also have a St Bernard (Sweetie) and a Great Pyrenees (Patches). They are all rescues.

We also have cats (around 20 - I try not to count). We live in the country - our originals were fixed but people have dropped some off and some of them were about to have kittens and so it goes. Right now we have all the females fixed except 3 who MUST stay in the house with no Toms inside until we can get these three fixed. The rescue that Gio is from may take the 3 females that need fixing and rehome them after their operations

I block the total of the vet bills from my mind. I think our vet(s) and mechanics should be dependents on our income tax (lol)

Last week my 16 year old daughter was diagnosed and confirmed as having mono - I had it 30 some years ago. Then is was considered so contagious I was quarantined in the hospital for 12 days (on intravenous for 10 days). Now they no longer quantine just no physical sports and go to school if she is up to it. Really seems wierd. We live in Canada so at least no doctor bills.

If it isn't too much trouble I tend to see the mail and comments quicker than the pings - I think because it jumps out more.

You can't see it but I am doing a little dance over here that someone has more cats then me. smiles I think I feed about 11 (that includes 3 new kittens that are just now starting to eat solid food). I have taken in several strays to help them out and of course they are female and not spayed. And it is so expensive for me to spay them...so I am trying to hold them hostage inside til I can get it done (it is $120 a cat) and I have 4 that need to be done. My one girl is not allowed outside ever again tho so she can wait a little bit (and due to medical issue last year she needs to be checked over cus her lungs may have been damaged ~ at 1month old she contracted a deadly tick disease in cats...60% dont survive...she was a baby stray outside when I found her and her mommy...cost me $500 just to save her life and she wasn't even mine). I agree with vet and mechanics. That or we need frequent flyer miles when we have to go see them. LOL
