Blech. Tootsie Rolls, if they're fresh or Dr Pepper flavored twizzler if that is available. Either one of these might find themselves secreted under the table for the dog to eat anyways. Do they still make the non-chocolate flavors of Tootsie Rolls?
Almond Joy or Abba Zabba?
They do still make the fruit flavored ones! They are a rarity to find outside of Halloween time though. I find them from time to time at a Dollar Store. (I'm a weird one though, I love normal Tootsie Rolls and Black Licorice LOL).
I had to Google Abba Zabba. Annnnnddd Im gonna go with Abba Zabba...because peanut butter. (Now I want one of those! OMG they look good!!)

yeah I'm old. You do NOT want to see the original wrapper of that one, which made it an embarrassing (to say the least) candy to admit liking to eat even back in the day.. I was gonna call it another San Francisco Bay candy that "made it" like Ghirardelli and Jolly Rancher but it turns out that Jolly Ranchers are from Colorado, even though I would only find them in the east bay and pretty much nowhere else in California. And nowadays most ice creams that are Rocky Road are called Moose Tracks or something similar.
