I'm from the suburbs of Chicago. I don't recommend it.

Born and raised on Long Island. Went to college in Savannah, GA for five years. And just recently married and moved to the west coast (Oregon for a year and now Washington.) The west coast is so different from the east coast. People actually stop and let you cross the street!

Born and raised in NC, US. Just got back from living in California for a 6-month internship though and I miss it... I'm hoping to get the opportunity to live there again someday.

I was born in San Jose, California, and I still live here. Do not recommend since it's boring here; there's nothing (safe) to do at night. My friends plan not so huge house parties at each others' houses and drink, but yeah. Otherwise there's not many places to go to and my friends' and my own opinion. ...also the rent here and other cities around is expensive.
