Do you have any recolor ideas in mind? I definitely will do recolors, I just don't know what people want to see since it would be the ribbon/hair recolored. So right now I'm open to suggestions. :)

Hi everyone I'm just checking to see if you're all still interested in the Candied Apple Curls. I know it has been a few weeks since I initially slotted, but I love this design and just want to get it on site so I decided to push it through soon (hopefully sometime this week). I just wanted to check if you were all good for your slots since it would change whether I submit the design direct to shop or push the batch through. Slot price remains at 700 since the first batch didn't fill and I have to push it through. Let me know. :)

I am okay for the Candied Apple Locks. Just a question though I think I have missed a detail, does it have a bit of pink on it?

I think it has a very subtle pink backlight glow on it (at least from what I can see on my comp). I don't think it makes it too problematic for layering though (won't know for sure until it's on site).

Every computer shows the colors differently though.

I'm always for ginger and red recolors. The ribbon probably is the toughest part. I could see a wine red with a yellow ribbon being awesome, complementary-wise, but I don't personally wear a lot of yellow. Maybe wine red and white ribbon, ginger and black ribbon? The ginger/black is like orange/black for Halloween XD If you want some items to compare color to, I personally like the wine red of and the ginger of

Would love to hear other opinions on the ribbon colors though. :)

Also, am wondering if maybe you could do the hair and ribbon separately or is it too late for that? That might help so people could have whatever color hair they wanted and their ribbon of choice :D

I personally also love red and ginger wigs and I was actually thinking of doing some sort of red wig and probably the ribbon being white because it is a good color to go with red.

One item I was thinking as inspiration from even:

I do also love the shade of the and other gingers like it so I will probably be getting a ginger as well (depending on demand or how much I want it). Though in terms of ribbon color for it, I have no idea what would go with it. I do like and the ribbon color definitely is interesting but I'm trying to stick to colors that are easy to go together and most people don't wear teal with ginger too often. Maybe I could do a ginger with plum or some shade of purple since I like purples and think ginger could go with purple ribbon. might still be a pain to match though.

Yeah, that color red is good too. Orange typically goes with blue, purple, black, white.. uh... lime green too I'm sure but for colors that aren't worn that often LOL I think that's one of them. When all else fails, you could always check out a color wheel :) Blue is a common color so maybe that could go with. Orange and blue are definitely complementary. Let me find the color wheel I used to use all the time for my graphic design stuff and we can find out what blues would go well with that ginger.

[edit] OK. So here is what I use to grab colors from an image if I don't want to open up my image editing program (just for future use for whatever XD) color palette generator

Now the colors I got from the first link were more brown and not the highlights that the hair has so you'll have to see what wheel you get from that because this is the color palette I got. Though, that is the blue color I was thinking of.

Yeah, Though blue and orange were my school colors so I probably will try to stay away from blues with ginger but I think like a royal purple would be really nice with ginger. Though a nice forest green would work really nicely with ginger too. :)

I'm also looking for colors that commonly go well together/are popular on subeta not just complimentary colors, since as much as I love putting pretty colors together, it's all a matter of what would gather interest amongst those who would be slotting. I wish it wasn't so and that I could just release everything I like or want to, but unfortunately that ends up being pricy for me to push things through if it doesn't gather much interest (on top of the cost of the recolor).

Yeah, that's the real trick. Hoping more people will chime in on the ribbon color for the ginger hair. I know what you mean about putting pretty colors together XD I'm always switching up my HAs for that reason lol It's just so fun.
