my bun is much better now, thank you. She wouldn't eat still but we managed to bribe her with some pear and parsley. And I held her while they performed the op to keep her calm and still which was a bit gorey and freaky but kinda nice.

Thank you! Luckily she's got meds and one of my other buns had the same thing not long ago and is fine now. Toothey problems are a pain with buns. Luckily I've not had any health problems with my snakes in the three years since I adopted them. n__n Yours is just gorgeous by the way.

My bun is doing much better and is eating , just being picky with her hard pellets so I ground them up with a pestle and coated her favourite soft pear slice in them so she'd still get the fiber and such, sneaky mama.

Little Cake was a birthday gift from my partner and the pet store he worked at (I helped to train the reptile department in the store and she was their way of saying thank you). I mostly keep the red-tails, but do have a very old male ball python (20 years old). He was my first. :)

Oh good, at least she is eating! Being tricky definitely helps! :) Some days I had to mush my ferret's hard food into a paste to get him to eat it... and then I gave up and switched to kitten/puppy food. He seems to like that better. Sadly, his medicine isn't a cure... it just reduces the amount of time his tummy is upset... so usually once a week he has a bad tummy day and won't eat. But at least now we have this medicine, because he was losing a LOT of weight before. Now he is pretty much back to normal. ^^ I totally felt that way though! Like, 'Baby, if I could take your pain I would... please just eat a little.'
