It's Monday :( I'd rather be on subeta all day and be lazy :p
But gotta pay the bills and save up for a new laptop :,(
Although I'm grateful for a job, it's a terrible one and we have terrible management!!!! I daydream about busting out of there every second I'm there LOL.
just wanted to rant and chat a bit while I'm here...hopefully I'm not the only one who feels this way about their job xD

I think I'm pretty happy with my job. I've had it for about a month now, so I'm still getting used to the idea of having a regular job. I have a really hard time with the mornings. My main problem is that I can't seem to get to sleep the night before. I just lay awake, waiting for my alarm. And then I'm super tired and achy in the morning and I sit here at my desk in a bad mood because I'm not feeling well.
That's awesome that you are liking it!!! That's definitely a plus! When I started working I had to get used to going to bed earlier which stinks x.xnnyou'll fall into a pattern soon! I hope it stays enjoyable for you!!! :)nnOh and drinks lots of coffee xD

I like my job - but I sometimes really dislike the customers xD
I do too xD Some customers are not so nice and a huge pain!!!!
They do have that rare group of lovely ones though ^-^

I dislike my job a lot, customer service has gotten a bit out of hand when even the customers decide to treat you like s* and not to mention the management team I have, they are the worst and I wish both either fired or transferred. I just hope I can get a new job soon before the summer begins and stuff.
we are in the same boat!!! customers always think its their way or no way and its crazy xD And the managers kiss their butts! I hope you can find a new job soon, I know how stressful it is x.x

I hope we both find a new one soon. yes yes yes omg its as if, that the customer doesnt get its way that they can suck it up to the manager and just get what they want. :( i hate it.
Very much so. Yesterday my had me working 7 hours without lunch.(isn't that illegal?!) Lets not forget the 5 hours I worked earlier that day. Don't ever become a department manager in retail. Its not worth it, pay still sucks.
I love and hate my job. I work as a preschool TA and love the kids, love the actual job. But the lead teacher in the room I'm in now is a bully. A lot of assistants have quit because of her. It gets frustrating.
It never fails! Ive been in the customer service industry for 7 years and they always win!! Good thing my goal is to never be a manager!!!! :p
Totally illegal! I had asked myself that same question when I worked @ a bank and on saturday they only had one stupid teller!!! I worked 8 hours with no chance of a break at all x.x And I have been warned before! I knew a girl who took a huge paycut to leave bc they hated it so much!!!! Im sorry you have to work there! I hope something better comes your way :(
That is terrible!!!!! Is no one seeing this problem and that people are leaving bc of her???? Sounds like she needs to be the one leaving out the door for good!!!! :k I hate impossible "coworkers" if you could even call her that. x.x

We've talked to the directors a few times, but they haven't done anything about it. We've had meetings, but things always go back to how they started. I was told flat out by one of the directors that "none of the parents have complained, so that means she is doing her job." Basically, the parents love her so they don't see any reason to change things. A few teachers have requested me as their assistant in the past, but this lead teacher always stops the directors from switching my room assignment.
On days like yesterday I sometimes hate my job so much that part of me wants to cause a supernova but there are also times when I enjoy it, like when I have a few minutes to talk to one of our residents about their life or so. My basic working conditions are luckily alright as our management cares a lot for the employees so it's mostly the notoriously dissatisfied asshole residents and certain colleagues that are driving me up the wall at times.
When working what I'm supposed to work (4 days a week) I really enjoy my job. But since I've been working a lot more lately, and super long shifts (18 hours sometimes) I'm starting to hate it. I wouldn't complain if I got paid hourly, this salary thing isn't any fun right now. Its gotta get better though. LOL. I hope.
Go figure something like that would happen :K I hope someone catches wind of how terrible she is soon and she gets in trouble!! That sounds beyond frustrating... how long do you have to be in her class with her? I hope you can make it through!!
At least the management cares for you! Thats where my job has a problem x.x and people will always be a problem! Some are lovely and others just want to make you rip your hair out quit! Same with coworkers x.x
See salary think is so tricky, its not bad if you are doing reg hours but sometimes they put so much work on you, you HAVE no other choice but to do some serious ot. LUckily we are switching from salary to hourly..... they were making us work 50+ a week and now they cant anymore and I am loving it!!! muahahahahaah :k and 18 hours is way too much x.x I respect you bc I could NEVER work that much in one day LOL!!!!

Love it and hate it. It's much better now that I switched primary work centers; my new leads are very nice and sweet and actually care about their employees under them. Everyone else in management, I pretty much dislike. In the time that I've been there, I have seen this place fall into a hole deeper than they ever could get out of at this point. It was a fun place when I first started but everyone just kind of tolerates it for the money now.
I do like my job most of the time, but I definitely would rather be sleeping or on the internet more :p I wish I could afford to only work part time so I could manage that whole work/life balance thing.
What doesn't help at the moment is that we're really short staffed so we've all got too much to do and this woman is really angry that I had to give her more work to do, she genuinely doesn't seem to realise that the entire team is being overworked not just her.
The job I have now is the best job I've ever had, and I hate it. I work in the OC, an area known for it's stuck-up, asshole, ridiculous people. Every day I have people tell me about their gluten "Sensitivity" and "OMG are your potato chips gluten free?" They're made of fucking potatoes, you idiot. I also get to hear about why they don't vaccinate their children and I have to smile through all of it.
"I do like my job most of the time, but I definitely would rather be sleeping or on the internet more "
I totally second that 100% xD I cant agree more!!!
I know how you feel about that :( I only tolerate the money as well, its not even that great I just need to pay on things :'(
LOL I had to laugh at the potato chips line xD That has to be a terrible job and idk how you can deal with those type of people. I can put up with a lot but not stuck up people x.x

Heh well I've lived in this part of Southern California all my life, so it's kind of become habit for me, I don't know why people move here though everywhere else seems much more kind and nice and don't follow the next miracle diet that has no scientific backing.
