It's always been neo or subeta for me. I think I tried to join gaia once and got confused (which sounds about right). I've got that Sunday feeling this evening, not looking forward to going to work tomorrow ;-; Although the more I work the more CSC I can buy :P

When I was in high school my time after was devoted to avatar community sites. The only one I ever really posted in was Gaia, but that was when I was in grade school. Me too! I really just want to take a day off but I can't. That is very true!

The boards on neo were pretty much the main reason why I go back. I hang about on the avatar chat and have a group of people I regularly bump into and chat to. It's definitely nice to feel like you have people online you can chat to anytime. I always try to get rl friends to have accounts on neo or subeta and half of them start and make an account...but then get bored! I could spend days on subeta and neo :P Someone should pay me to be on here!

That's what kept me know Gaia so long are friends. But I've gotten more socially awkward and shy over the years. So I don't really like posting and talking. I always end up saying the wrong hung or something. So typically I just don't try. It is a lot easier to make friends online than in rl for me for sure. I could too!!! The games and pets and sparklies! I could sit and make different avatars allllllll day.

I know exactly what you mean! And I spend ages thinking about what I want to say...and agonizing over every little word. Especially when there can be groups of people. I much prefer the freedom of these boards though - it was frustrating on neo having to avoid saying something like 'assassinate' because it has the word ass in it :P

I do too! I'll type and then back track thinking that's not right! Me too! Oh no, I could not deal with that. I would find a way to shut off filters. .-.

The filters were probably the most difficult thing on neo. The average age of neo players has to be over 16 and I'll be sure a lot of them have heard much worse than the word 'ass'. It's definitely frustrating, and the site itself also feels like it's falling apart...

That's me sneaking onto Subeta in my lunch break...eyeing up that CSC :P

Yeah, I'd say so. Poor neo. Sounds like they need a big over haul. Also, sorri for the late reply. A tree fell on the power line that services my house. It also pulled the power pole that is right beside my house......Scary.
